I didn't like the cold contents of the can, but after heating it up, it was excellent. I added a very spicy sauce that starts with T and got a fantastic goulash, perfect for Hungarian pancakes. So I ordered another can and already plan to enjoy this dish again on Saturday.

This is a typical military canned meat known as "Małpa". The beef is juicy and well-seasoned – it tastes great both cold and hot. During my military service, I used to eat it with lard, but the taste has remained the same over the years. The can doesn't have an opener, so it's harder to open, but this way it can be stored much longer than the expiration date suggests. I recommend it.

The can I received comes with a self-opener, even though it wasn't shown in the picture – that's a plus for me, even though traditionally it should be opened with a bayonet or multitool. As for the meat – I feel like the "monkey" I ate in the army 30 years ago was beef. I recommend it!
