Petzl Lynx Crampons
14-point, modular crampons designed for technical mountaineering, as well as ice and mic climbing. The points arrangement provides high grip on varying ice structures, even when using a mono-point configuration. The 8 points in contact with the ground translate into better stability when moving on hard ice and in mics.
Interchangeable front blades, variable configuration
Equipped with interchangeable front blades, the configuration can be flexibly adjusted to suit the type of activity - from symmetrical bi-points for navigating snow couloirs, to short mono-points for ice, to long mono-points designed for mic climbing. Changing the layout is done with a single screw, greatly simplifying the adaptation of the equipment to the terrain.
Leverlock Universal fastening system, adjustable in length
The Leverlock Universel system allows attachment to footwear with a cut-out in the rear, and the length of the crampons can be adjusted without tools. Two-position connectors ensure compatibility with shoe sizes 37 to 49. Antisnow pads are included to effectively prevent snow accumulation under the sole.
Alpen Adapt system, compatibility with Cord-Tec kit set
As part of the Alpen Adapt system, the crampons provide interchangeable components such as fronts, connectors, pads and fastening systems. This makes them easily adaptable to different types of footwear - from rigid mountain boots to snowboard models to telemark footwear. Compatibility with the Cord-Tec kit set reduces weight and bulk during transport.
