Osprey Farpoint Backpack 55 l - Black

A travel backpack with a capacity of 55 litres, equipped with an additional EDC backpack. The model is made of Bluesign-certified and recycled 450D polyester. The outer layer is treated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment to protect against moisture and dirt. The breathable Airscape mesh back panel distributes weight evenly and guarantees a good fit on the back.

The main compartment, which can be completely unzipped, is equipped with two compression straps and two mesh pockets - on the front flap and on the side, closed with zips for easy organisation. The two-way zips of the main compartment can be secured with a lock, protecting the contents. In case of bad weather, the included rain cover provides protection for the backpack. The side panels feature loops for attaching ice axes or trekking poles and two bottle pockets.

The carrying system consists of breathable shoulder straps with a buckle-fastened chest strap with rescue whistle. The 6005-T5 alloy aluminium frame with titanium strut provides additional stability and the waist strap is equipped with a practical pocket for small accessories. All components are adjustable for a customised fit. External compression straps reduce the volume of the luggage and a loop system is used to attach additional equipment. The load-bearing structure can be completely hidden under the cover, allowing the backpack to be transformed into a travel bag. Comfortable handles on the sides and top make it easy to carry.

Included in the set is a small 15-litre everyday backpack, which features a two-way zip with locking facility, two mesh side pockets and a rear compartment for a laptop or tablet. Inside there is space for a hydration cartridge, and the cable can be conveniently routed to the chest strap. The main compartment is equipped with a key holder, and additional pockets - a main pocket and a zipped pocket - facilitate organisation. A small front exterior pocket is used for storing small items. Buckle fastenings allow the backpacks to be connected on either side of the body for easy access to essential equipment.
