The set includes a synthetic leather case with a practical snap fastener. On the back, there is a loop for attaching to a belt up to 55 mm wide, as well as two additional orange loops that allow the case to be carried horizontally.
High cutting efficiency
The knife blade is made of stainless steel and polished to a stylish, semi-matt finish. The use of a full flat grind, similar to a zero-grind finish, combined with the blade's slim thickness, translates into high cutting efficiency. This solution facilitates the precise separation of mushrooms from the ground without the risk of damaging them.
Simple and reliable Virobloc locking mechanism
In the open position, the blade is secured by a Virobloc lock patented in 1955. This mechanism is based on a steel ring mounted on the handle, right next to the blade's pivot point. When the knife is unfolded, the ring must be rotated a few degrees to cover the slot in the handle, preventing the blade from moving. The blade can be locked in the closed position in the same way, preventing accidental opening. The knife is easy to unfold thanks to a special notch on the blade, similar to that found on Victorinox models.
The handle is made of durable oak wood and has been ergonomically shaped, which translates into a secure and pleasant grip. Its significant advantage is the ease of customization - a hole for a safety cord can be easily drilled in the back. The wood is also suitable for further modification, such as texturing, carving or staining in any colour.
