Mil-Tec Tarp Tarpaulin PE Ripstop 3 x 3 m - Flecktarn

Mil-Tec camping tarp fully made from polyester coated with PVC. The tarp can be used as a tarpaulin, tent, awning, and also as an emergency material. It is characterised by water resistance up to 5000 mm water column. It is equipped with durable loops allowing the tarp to be hung.

The covering includes 19 reinforced attachment points prepared for guy lines. The set does not include poles. The tarp allows for quick and easy shelter preparation during a hike or bike journey. Its light weight makes it an excellent alternative to a traditional, heavy tent.

Flecktarn, the classic German military camouflage, was introduced to the Bundeswehr in 1990. The pattern consists of small, irregular spots in five colours - most commonly dark green, olive, brown, black, and beige. Thanks to the numerous distributed points and blurred borders between them, Flecktarn effectively breaks up the silhouette in forest environments, thickets, or against forest floor. The camouflage was designed with the European climate in mind, particularly in the temperate zone. Flecktarn is still used as a standard pattern by the German army and other military and police formations, and its effectiveness has led to the creation of numerous variants and adaptations in other countries.
