Woodland camouflage

Woodland, also known as US Woodland or M81, is a classic camouflage pattern introduced in the American armed forces in the early 1980s, based on the earlier ERDL camouflage pattern. It was the standard pattern in the US military for over 20 years, until the end of the first decade of the 21st century. It is characterised by large, irregular blotches in shades of green, brown, beige, and black, providing excellent camouflaging and deforming properties, especially in forested areas. Due to its effectiveness and global recognition, it has been adopted in many variations, used by over 60 military formations worldwide. This pattern also significantly influenced popular culture, transitioning from military applications to everyday fashion.

It's very easy to clean with wet wipes, and although I haven't had the chance to use it in the rain yet, it worked perfectly when water was spilled.

    You can't use it directly as an underquilt for a poncho, as it lacks an opening ;) However, it works well under a hammock or as a blanket. It's lightweight, but it does take up some space, so it won't fit in a small backpack.
