This mattress is a great alternative to a foam mat (which takes up a lot of space) if you care about greater sleeping comfort, because it does not improve insulation from the ground. Its main advantages are simplicity and speed of use.
M-Tac 1-person Mattress 195 x 60 cm - Olive
Inflatable travel mattress measuring 195 cm in length and 60 cm in width. Made from durable 40D nylon with a Rip-Stop mesh, coated with TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), which provides abrasion resistance and flexibility. When rolled up, it takes up little space, making it easy to attach to your gear or stow in a backpack. The wide air inlet allows for quick inflation of the mattress, also with the use of a pump.
Thermal insulation coefficient R-Value
The model has a thermal insulation coefficient of R-Value 1.3, in accordance with the ASTM F3340-18 standard. This parameter determines the level of insulation from the ground - the higher the value, the better the protection against heat loss.
Interpretation of the R-Value used in the outdoor industry:
- 1.0-2.0 - for summer conditions (night temperatures above approximately 10 deg. C),
- 2.1-3.5 - for spring-summer-autumn (around 0-10 deg. C),
- 3.6-5.0 - for cold conditions, around 0 deg. C and temperatures below zero to approximately -5/-10 deg. C,
- 5.1-7.0 - for winter use, temperatures below 0 deg. C,
- above 7.0 - for winter conditions requiring increased insulation.
Actual thermal comfort depends on the sleeping system (sleeping bag, clothing), the type of ground, and the individual's tolerance to cold.
Protection against ground unevenness
The mattress is suitable both as a base for a sleeping bag at a campsite and as a relaxing spot during outdoor trips. It provides excellent protection against ground unevenness.
Easy folding and transport
The folding method of the mattress is easy and intuitive. Simply unscrew the valve and roll up the mattress. The set includes a cover, which facilitates storage and transport.

Very convenient to carry, quick to inflate (a little less so to fold, but that's the case with all inflatables), this mattress is very good value for money. I’ve only tested it in the summer and on a foam mat to help it last, so I can't judge its insulation or strength. However, it's very comfortable! I got a pump sack but it's not even necessary!
-
At first, I was sceptical, but the mattress turned out to be pleasant and comfortable. It inflates very easily and quickly, no pump bags are needed. It is equipped with two valves.
-
The mattress is cheap and well-made, so far it hasn’t caused any problems. The downside is it’s a bit too long, which for people of medium height means unnecessary extra weight to carry. Apart from that, all positives for this price.
-
The mattress is suitable for people about 190 cm tall and fits most tents perfectly. When folded, it is very small.
-
I’ve tried the mattress on both cycling and trekking trips – and it worked perfectly. The price to weight and comfort ratio is excellent. Inflates quickly, very compact when folded, lightweight, and costs about as much as a pillow from reputable brands. It’s also about 10cm longer than other models, so I don’t need to tuck my legs in.
-
Very good, lightweight mattress that takes up little space in luggage and insulates well against the cold. It was suitable even for someone slightly taller. For this price, excellent quality.
-
Used for two months, I slept about ten nights on it. Very comfortable. The difference compared to a foam mat is huge. Even being 95 kg and sleeping on my side, I don’t touch the ground. I recommend it.
-
I bought a spare, as I thought I had lost my first one, which I’ve been using for a few years. Fortunately, I found the old one, so this one is reserved, because it works great. I see no downsides, and many advantages: relatively lightweight, easy to unfold and pack, hassle-free inflation, good cover and comfortable sleep even with higher weight (about 100kg).
-
Nice mattress for a really good price. So far I haven’t had any issues – it’s comfortable to sleep on and takes up little space in a backpack or luggage. Highly recommended.
-
I wanted a very compact and lightweight mattress for bikepacking that wouldn’t break the budget. This model has met all my expectations – it’s easy to inflate by mouth and initially seems comfortable. We’ll see how it holds up over time.
-
Fantastic alternative to a mat – it’s soft, insulates well, small and light when folded. My son has been using it for two months, I’ve had it for eight – we’re both very pleased. My record is 7 breaths, usually 8-9. Ideal for starting your camping adventure.
-
Unfortunately, despite only using it in a hammock, the mattress loses air – very slowly, but it’s definitely colder in the morning. I haven’t found a hole, it’s probably the valve’s fault.
-
Bought a year ago, perfect for camping or sleeping at friends’ places. Easy to inflate, very comfortable to sleep on. Length is enough for a height of 175cm, might be too short for much taller people. Compact and easy to pack.

Very good mattress, I bought it a year ago and it works great both for camping and when visiting friends. It’s compact, easy to pack for trips, easy to inflate and comfortable to sleep on. Plus, attractive price.
