I bought the jacket as a complement to softshell trousers from the same brand. I use it in winter, when temperatures range from a few degrees above zero to minus 15 degrees. I mainly use the set for work around the house, walking the dog, etc., and it works great! I haven't worn thermal clothing underneath yet, as there was no need. When it's below zero, I put a sweatshirt under the jacket and that's enough. When temperatures are above zero, underwear suffices because the set doesn't let air through that well and you can sweat. The jacket protects very well against the wind, even strong, cold gusts. Snow and wet bushes are not a problem as it doesn't get soaked. It won't last long in the rain, as eventually it will let water in. The material is fairly smooth, so it doesn’t catch debris, fur, or dirt. It’s durable against tears. I’m taking off one star because of a few minor details. The two-way main zip (apparently YKK) sometimes comes apart and you need to remember to fasten the bottom slider to open the top one. I’ve got used to it by now, but it’s a bit annoying. The fleece liner can be taken out and the jacket washed, which is a big plus, but the fleece is only fastened by a single loop in the sleeves, which means the fleece sleeve doesn't always sit right on your arm. I don’t know if this could be done better, as motorcycle gear is similar. The lining in the trouser legs fastens with a zip, in the sleeves with loops or poppers. Third minus – the zip in the fleece is sewn on the left side, which is a bit inconvenient. If I used the fleece separately, this would probably bother me, but as a jacket for the forest it’s not a big problem. Would I buy it again? Yes, because the jacket meets my expectations. At 178 cm tall and weighing 85 kg, size M (both trousers and jacket) is perfect.

The coat is exceptionally comfortable and in terms of appearance and style, it can easily compete with products from renowned brands. The purchase cost is attractive, the coat is extremely warm and looks great. This is my first purchase from this brand and I was positively surprised. The coat has many practical pockets and an effective lining, making it perfect for everyday use. Numerous useful pockets, a loose fit that ensures full freedom of movement, and ventilation openings which guarantee comfort even during increased activity. Highly recommended, very solid quality.

The jacket is definitely worth its price. It has very good outer material and a light fleece lining that keeps you warm. It has many pockets and is well-fitted to the silhouette.
-
The jacket is great. M-Tac is truly a solid brand. So far, it hasn't been cold enough to attach the fleece, but I sometimes wear it separately. I definitely recommend this product, it's worth your attention.

The jacket works very well, it's extremely warm, has a lot of practical pockets and ventilation openings. The material is strong, waterproof, and has withstood many walks through thickets or reed beds without damage. It's my favourite choice for urban exploration and trips to the forest.

It didn't protect against water even for five minutes; my brother only had a slightly damp neck in a regular sweatshirt, while I had completely wet back, shoulders, and water was dripping by my ears in this jacket.

The M-Tac Softshell jacket with liner is a purchase I am very pleased with. The material is durable, windproof, and resistant to light rain. You can easily attach or remove the liner depending on the weather, which makes it very versatile. The cut fits well to the body and the many roomy pockets are very practical. The jacket is comfortable to wear, does not restrict movement, and works great for outdoor activities as well as everyday use. Solid zips and quality stitching testify to its high quality. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a functional and comfortable jacket for various weather conditions.

Excellent jacket, I don’t regret spending a single penny – it’s worth it. The set includes a fleece, so you can wear it in many ways; it works great in the rain. I think it’s an all-year-round product, as even in the evening by the water in summer it protects from the cold without causing overheating. The only minor downside is the hood – if you don’t fold it properly it can press slightly on your neck, so another stowing method would be useful. I sincerely recommend it.
-
The jacket looks good, but when combined with the fleece it becomes heavy and slightly restricts freedom of movement. It’s much more comfortable to wear just the outer jacket (without the branded fleece attached) over a light fleece you already have. However, when you buy a set of a jacket with a detachable liner, you probably expect something else. I ordered the Pentagon Artaxes together with this jacket and kept that one, as it’s more comfortable and made of a more elastic material. I returned the M-Tac, even though overall it’s quite a nice product.

I gave the highest rating mainly for the very good value for money. It’s a comfortable softshell, fairly thick with the liner, but very warm in winter. It breathes well – I don’t feel overly sweaty. The fleece/insulation is warm enough – that’s exactly what this type of jacket should have. Both parts can be worn separately.
-
This really is a good softshell jacket, which performs very well thanks to the built-in liner. The set is a bit heavy, and it doesn’t keep me as warm as I expected – I planned to wear it mainly in winter and early spring. At this price, it’s definitely worth buying. At 172 cm and 86 kg, size M fits perfectly.
-
A very solid jacket that, with the liner, makes a really good set. There are lots of pockets (with organisers in some), and they’re well-placed. The only downside is the main zip, which can sometimes be hard to fasten – you need to get used to it. I ordered M for 176 cm and 79 kg and it fits perfectly.
-
Really good jacket. When it’s slightly below freezing, a thermal shirt is enough to keep me warm. When the temperature rises, you can open the underarm vents. I recommend it.
-
The M-Tac Softshell with lining does its job – it keeps you warm and breathes at the same time. I’ve never sweated in it, though I mainly use it in the city. Without the lining, it’s enough for temperatures down to 0ºC; below that, I add the liner. The pockets are conveniently placed. The only downside is the stiff collar with the liner – maybe that’s just the style.
-
The jacket makes a very good impression. Excellent workmanship, no objections whatsoever. You can wear it in several ways: with the lining, without it, or as a standalone fleece. Lots of pockets. Indispensable for cycling trips and more. I highly recommend it.
