The original Morale Patch is made of durable 500D Cordura in Multicam camouflage. The elements of the patch in the shape of a cat's eye have been covered with fluorescent, glow-in-the-dark plastic. The emblem has been equipped with a one-sided Velcro, so you can attach it to clothing, backpack or elements of equipment.
Morale patch patches are worn by soldiers and other services alongside patches specific to their own unit to "boost morale." They are a kind of identifying and unifying element of the group and are an element of soldier humor.
