Lightweight tactical pants made from a material that is a combination of cotton and polyester reinforced with Rip-Stop weave . The material used not only dries faster than 100% cotton, but also features optimal breathability and increased tear resistance .
The well-thought-out cut of the pants does not restrict freedom of movement, which is extremely important during all activities.Reinforcements in areas particularly vulnerable to abrasion, ensure a long period of use.
The pants are equipped with 7 practical pockets:
- two classic side ones with reinforced edges,
- two on the thighs (cargo with asymmetrical Velcro-fastened flap and side zippered access),
- one on the front left side (open, for example, for a smartphone),
- two on the back (fastened with Velcro flaps).
The circumference of the pants is adjustable with a tunnel elastic belt that allows adjustment to individual characteristics of the figure. The belt loops are designed for the use of a belt with a width of up to 55 mm. The two front ones are additionally equipped with loops (d-rings) for attaching, for example, gloves or keys. The bottom of the legs is adjustable with an elastic cord and velcro (Velcro) panel.
All zippers were manufactured by the renowned YKK company .
The name MM-14 is an abbreviation for маскувальний малюнок (maskuvalʹnyy malyunok = camouflage pattern) and the year 2014, when the camouflage was officially approved. The pattern refers to the American UCP camouflage, but shades were chosen to match the colors naturally found on Ukrainian territory. The introduction of the MM-14 camouflage pattern was an important part of the Ukrainian army's reform to break with post-Soviet identification. Unofficially, MM14 camouflage also goes by the names Ukrainian Pixel Camo and Ukrainian Digital Camo.
