Lowa Tibet GTX boots - Sepia/Black are already the third pair of Lowa boots I own. I bought them with winter outings and mountain hikes in mind. They are warm, and only time will tell about their durability and the temperature range they can handle.
Lowa Tibet GTX Boots - Sepia/Black
Waterproof trekking boots in Sepia/Black with a lightweight yet exceptionally durable construction, equipped with a breathable Gore-Tex membrane and a soft lining. Made from damage-resistant nubuck leather, they offer great flexibility and resistance to bending, making them an ideal choice for long hikes and challenging terrain conditions.
Gore-Tex membrane
The modern Gore-Tex membrane effectively protects against water penetration while ensuring full breathability and wind resistance. The Flexifit upper construction stabilizes the ankle while allowing for a natural range of motion. The anatomically designed C4-Tongue evenly distributes pressure, providing excellent comfort even during intense activities.
Vibram Masai sole, Climbing Zone
The rubber Vibram Masai sole, abrasion-resistant and flexible, offers excellent cushioning. Its non-slip structure and deep tread ensure exceptional grip, even on rough and rocky terrain. The unique tread design enables automatic cleaning of debris while walking. Additionally, the sole is compatible with various types of crampons, enhancing the model's versatility.
The front of the sole features a Climbing Zone, whose flat profile supports tackling more challenging sections of the trail, especially during climbing. The midsole, made of elastic polyurethane foam (PU), stabilizes the foot and protects it from impacts, providing maximum comfort. Additional anatomically designed insoles effectively wick moisture away from the skin's surface, increasing comfort during prolonged activities.
2 Zone Lacing system
The 2 Zone Lacing system allows for independent adjustment of the lower and upper parts of the boot, enabling a precise fit tailored to the user's individual needs. Eyelets with I-Lock hooks prevent the laces from shifting, while additional small rollers reduce the risk of abrasion. The tongue hook (X-Lancing) stabilizes the tongue both vertically and horizontally, ensuring added comfort and support.

Gore-Tex is a thin membrane made of polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE), which features a microporous structure. Its structure makes it highly water- and wind-resistant, as well as breathable. The membrane's pores are 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapor, which allows it to efficiently wick moisture to the outside. Gore-Tex is widely used in the production of outdoor clothing and footwear.
Flexifit is a technology that uses an upper design that, by repositioning the shoe's eyelets and using a flexible lacing hook, increases ankle mobility and provides greater heel comfort when the shoe is flexed.
C4-Tongue is an anatomically contoured tongue in the shoe, which, combined with asymmetrical padding, ensures even pressure distribution in the shoe. This solution centralizes the position of the tongue and improves the flexible fit to the leg, translating into high comfort when walking.
Vibram Masai is a type of abrasion-resistant rubber sole, distinguished by very good grip on any surface, thanks to the self-cleaning tread design. The shape of the sole is contoured and prevents slipping, and the Climbing Zone located at the tip makes it easier to climb rock steps.
Climbing Zone is a flat, low-profile zone in the front of the shoe's sole covering the toes, usually made of high-grip rubber. It allows a better feel for the ground and enables the foot to be placed safely on smaller steps or stones, by shifting pressure to the big toe.
2 Zone Lacing is a special two-zone lacing system for shoes, allowing the laces to be tied separately at the bottom and top of the shoe for the best fit.
I-Lock is an innovative lacing system consisting of self-locking loops that hold the laces in their original position and small rollers that minimize the risk of abrasion. It reduces the possibility of the shoe unwinding on its own and allows for a better fit.
X-Lancing is a technology that uses an additional attachment point on the tongue in the lacing system to stabilize it both vertically and horizontally. This ensures optimal tongue placement and stability during use.

These are already my third pair of Lowa shoes – I’ve had the previous Renegade model for 6 years and they are still in excellent condition (even the original laces), and I’ve had the Z8N GTX model for 3 years. I hope these will serve me just as long, of course using Lowa’s colourless cream for waterproofing. I definitely recommend them.

The shoes are very comfortable – at first they might seem stiff, but later they become really soft. Once waterproofed, they provide good protection against water. The tongue is sewn high enough not to let in moisture. They don’t look like typical military or hiking boots, so they’re suitable both for the city and for walks.

Very nice and extremely sturdy shoes. In my opinion, they are practically indestructible, even with intensive use. Additionally, they look great and present themselves very well.

This is already my second pair of Lowa shoes – I bought them because the previous pair worked excellently for many years. The new shoes arrived very quickly, the next day after ordering. I am very satisfied.
