I have been using it regularly for several months. So far it has not let me down once, the material shows no signs of damage. I definitely recommend it.

Unfortunately, I think I got a faulty unit, because the plastic part by the bottle cap ring broke off and it's now impossible to open bottles with it. Additionally, the ribbed grip for caps wore out quickly. Overall, I don’t really recommend it, because although it seemed as sturdy as the handles of KA-BAR knives, I ended up disappointed!

As an addition to a gift for a friend interested in military gear, the opener turned out excellent. As far as I know, it is still being used ;)
