Helikon Woodsman Long Sleeve Shirt - Black

I believe this shirt is adequate for its price. Like other customers, I have the impression that it resembles a lightweight jacket rather than a classic shirt. I wear it over a fleece, and it protects well against wind and light rain. The numerous, practically placed pockets are also a plus. I highly recommend it. I am 182 cm tall and weigh 80 kg – size L fits perfectly.

I bought this shirt some time ago and I would move it to the jacket category because it works great in moderate weather. The material is not really suitable for very warm or cold days. For my height of 173 cm and weight of around 100 kg, XXXL is a good size, although I had to shorten the sleeves a bit. I still rate it 5 stars.

This is the first shirt in which I can fit loads of things – perfect for me because I even go to the toilet with my EDC backpack. Great material and workmanship, and as usual Militaria.pl shipped the order very quickly. Many thanks to the team!

The product has been excellently designed and manufactured. I think it's one of Helikon’s best items. Very solid, with a well-considered design and numerous pockets. The garment is durable and suitable for everyday wear, without drawing attention with a ‘tactical’ style. On hot days, it can be quite warm despite the ventilation under the arms. Other than that – I have no reservations.

Elegant and very comfortable shirt for everyday wear. It fits the figure well, doesn’t squeeze too much, and the material is comfortable to wear – it doesn’t irritate the skin. The only downside is the price, which is a bit high.

I've had this shirt for quite some time – great cut and fit, well-placed pockets. The buttons are strong and well sewn. I most often use it as a light jacket. I'm very satisfied.

Brilliant shirt. The material is strong, but at the same time very comfortable and doesn’t restrict movement. The underarm ventilation works perfectly, providing a pleasant coolness. Lots of pockets both external and internal. On top of all that, the shirt looks elegant. I recommend it – the sizes match the table.

Once again, Helikon proves they know what they’re doing. This shirt can be used as a heavier shirt or a light jacket – perfect for wearing as an outer or intermediate layer. The pockets are very practical, the underarm zips and internal pockets are impressive. Worth every penny. Size L fits perfectly (185 cm, 92 kg). It will work perfectly in the forest, for trekking trips or even in the city. I definitely recommend it. I’m sure it won’t be just one :) Regards!

The sizing runs large or the information in the size chart is incorrect. Size S is more like XS, at least as far as the torso is concerned. The sleeves are the right length and quite wide (which is a plus), but combined with a very fitted torso the whole look is not great. The cut is unusual and differs from the classic US BDU-style jumpers. The material, Canadian buttons, pockets and workmanship are fine.

I am 185 cm tall and 100 kg, size L is suitable. It’s a shirt, but made from a thicker material, which resembles uniform jumpers like the SFU, but it’s lighter and lacks tactical extras and Velcro. Perfect for everyday tasks around the house, trips, fishing or generally any outdoor activity. I recommend it.

Based on my experiences with Helikon's sizing, I ordered both L and M – L was a perfect fit. The shirt itself is reminiscent of a jacket – it’s thick, very comfortable and practical thanks to the pockets. I also appreciate the loops for gear, e.g. gloves. Shirt tested in the field – performed excellently. I plan to buy a second one because it’s really worth it.

The cut, fabric, and workmanship are very good quality. It also looks very nice :-) However, calling it a "shirt" is a little misleading, as it is actually more of a light jacket than a shirt. The biggest downside is Helikon's sizing :-( You need to choose one, or even two sizes larger than usual.

I must admit that this time I didn’t check the reviews before buying and that was a big mistake, because as someone already wrote, the chest sizes are underestimated. So I have to change the size from XXL to XXXL. I recommend always checking other buyers' comments – they are often honest and accurately describe the product.

The shirt is excellently made – it’s something between a shirt and a sweatshirt, really a great choice for trips outdoors. I had a dilemma whether to choose XXL or 3XL – I chose the bigger size and it was a good decision. Generally, with Helikon clothing I have different sizes, so I recommend picking a bigger one, as the sizing varies depending on the product.

The shirt is made of solid material, ideal for spring or autumn. The sleeves are indeed wide, which allows you to comfortably wear a thermal layer underneath. You can also narrow them with the appropriate fastening. I recommend it to those who are still hesitating.
