Helikon Woodsman Anorak Jacket - Crimson Sky/Ash Grey

Hooded jacket in Crimson Sky/Ash Grey colour scheme, anorak type, is part of the Helikon-Tex Bushcraft Line collection. The outer shell is made of Duracanvas fabric. The jacket features a high collar with a chin guard, YKK zips, attachment loops and useful pockets that facilitate the organisation of stored items. Suitable for long expeditions and everyday use.

Duracanvas material, StormStretch fabric

The outer material is made of Duracanvas fabric with a grammage of 230 g/m2, which is suitable for waxing, increasing its resistance to rain, moisture and abrasions. The back part is made from StormStretch fabric, a blend of 98% nylon and 2% elastane. This material is characterised by high resistance to abrasions and tears, while being highly elastic, providing comfort and freedom of movement.

3 spacious pockets

The Woodsman Anorak model is equipped with practical pockets

  • kangaroo pocket with internal organiser
  • two hip pockets

YKK zips, Prym snaps

The main Half-Zip fastening is a two-way YKK zipper. The stand-up collar is secured with a fabric cover protecting the chin from being pinched by the zip. On both sides of the jacket, there are zips with Prym snaps, allowing for unfastening. The side zips make it easier to put on and take off the jacket, and can also serve as ventilation.

hood, velcro cuffs

Adjustable hood with a visor and high collar protect against rain and wind. Cuffs with velcro fastenings and drawstrings at the waist allow the jacket to fit the individual silhouette. Under the arms, there are ventilation openings with zips, finished with Mesh lining for better breathability and temperature regulation.

Great jacket – it's lightweight and breathable. I use it for mountain hikes and cycling. When folded, it takes up little space in the backpack and dries quickly. You have to get used to putting it on over your head, but the two side zips allow you to unzip it and turn it into a poncho. I'm 180 cm tall and weigh 90 kg – I chose size L, which gives me space for a thick fleece. Size M was too tight in the chest, you couldn't wear much underneath.

Very good anorak – both in terms of appearance and practicality. I chose size L for a height of about 177 cm and a weight of 85 kg – it fits perfectly, without restricting movement. A fleece easily fits underneath. I definitely recommend it.

Great jacket, size L easily fits a Helikon fleece underneath, which provides plenty of warmth. It protects perfectly against the wind and works well in the forest, as it is resistant to contact with branches. At first, the kangaroo pocket might seem strange, but it quickly becomes very practical. The zippered sides make putting on the jacket much easier – you can feel like a musketeer in a cloak 😂 Highly recommend!

Great jacket. Very good material, careful stitching, practical pockets and a brilliant idea with the side zips. I haven’t had the chance to test it in the rain yet, because since purchase there have been only heatwaves :) I recommend it!

Regarding size M. For a person who is 175 cm tall and weighs 65 kg, with a slim build, the Amorak fits perfectly. No problem fitting a Helikon fleece underneath, the sleeves are an excellent length – cycling is a real pleasure. The jacket fits well and does not restrict freedom of movement. Size S is also fine, but M provides more comfort, especially considering how you put it on. You can easily put an extra jumper underneath – but you don’t look like you’re wearing a sack. Excellent craftsmanship and materials. After the first tests, I definitely recommend it. The jacket is not cheap, but it’s worth investing in Helikon rather than cheaper anoraks for about 150 PLN. This is a purchase for many years, not just one season. Zips, adjustability, Velcro on the cuffs – all great. The Taiga Green colour is very impressive.

The product is excellent. The material is very good, the idea with the side zips is genius, especially for people with a belly... The grey-black version looks great. I truly recommend it. Super fast delivery!

Great jacket. The sizing is less generous than I thought. I'm glad I chose L, though I was considering M. The appearance, colours, and cut are excellent. The materials used are of the highest quality. I don't know about the durability of the colours yet, but I wholeheartedly recommend it. Fast shipping and top-quality service.

I've had my eye on this jacket for quite some time. I wasn't entirely sure when I'd need it, but I really liked it. I took advantage of a promotion and ordered it straight away. On my very first outing – an overnight Way of the Cross walk – I appreciated it, and regretted not buying it sooner. The jacket fits great, it's well thought-out and functional, and the vents help a lot when marching. The hood is superbly designed. The large kangaroo pocket holds everything I need. The earth brown colour matches my Helikon trousers perfectly – I highly recommend it!

Great jacket. Excellent stitching. Very interesting cut, suitable for both the forest and the city. The pockets are spacious and well thought out. The size given by the manufacturer was spot on – for me at 172 cm the S size was just right. In my opinion, the Taiga Green colour looks the best of all available. I recommend the product.

Excellent jacket. I tested it during a several-day mountain trip and it performed superbly. The side zips to improve ventilation are a big plus. The jacket protects very well from the wind and copes quite well with rain. I am 175 cm tall and have a 116 cm chest – I initially chose size M, but it was too tight. After exchanging for an L, it fits very well, although putting on and taking off the anorak takes a bit of effort – but that's just how they are. Highly recommended, and special thanks to the shop staff for the quick jacket exchange. Regards.

Very durable jacket, made from excellent material, fits the body perfectly. The side zips are a great innovation, giving the option to wear it in various conditions. The price fluctuates a lot – I paid even over a hundred more, but the product is worth it. The hood fits well. I highly recommend!

The jacket works very well, with a height of 180 cm and a weight of 80 kg, size M fits perfectly. The only downside is the black material (Black/Taiga Green version), which picks up hair very easily – with 6 dogs, that's a problem. Other than that, it's brilliant!

I think this is the best anorak from Helikon – excellent both for long backpacking trips (the back material dries quickly) and for working by the campfire (Dura Canvas material). It is lighter than the Pilgrim model.

The black version of the anorak is perfect for the city. The thin back works perfectly with a backpack. Compared to the Helikon Pilgrim model, this one is lighter and has fewer pockets, which makes it ideal for summer.

A solid jacket – it works well both in the city and during trips. The waterproofing is decent (tested in heavy rain). Putting it on and taking it off – as for this type of jacket – is acceptable (you just need to get used to it :)). A big plus is the ability to regulate ventilation with the side zips. The spacious hood with the option to adjust it to your head is especially useful in rain and strong wind. Many thanks for such a solution. The colour is a bit darker in reality than in the photos. Negatives: no additional zips in the main pocket and no pockets on the sleeves (these would be very useful, as searching for things in the main pocket by feel is a bit inconvenient).
