An excellent transitional jacket for challenging weather. This remarkably high-quality jacket protects brilliantly against light rain and gusty winds, but it does reach its limits in colder weather. With a thick jumper, it becomes a bit tricky to get into this piece, and even trickier to take it off again. Despite choosing the optimal size for me, when putting it on, I feel like it's about to burst at the seams at any moment, but there are zips on the sides to make putting it on and taking it off a bit easier. The front pocket has several practical compartments and can also be accessed from the sides. The material is a successful compromise between water-repellent and breathable. I would buy it again straight away.

The jacket features a high collar with a chin guard, YKK zips, attachment loops and useful pockets that facilitate the organisation of stored items. Suitable for long expeditions and everyday use.
Duracanvas material, StormStretch fabric
The outer material is made of Duracanvas fabric with a grammage of 230 g/m2, which is suitable for waxing, increasing its resistance to rain, moisture and abrasions. This material is characterised by high resistance to abrasions and tears, while being highly elastic, providing comfort and freedom of movement.

On both sides of the jacket, there are zips with Prym snaps, allowing for unfastening. The side zips make it easier to put on and take off the jacket, and can also serve as ventilation.
hood, velcro cuffs
Adjustable hood with a visor and high collar protect against rain and wind. Cuffs with velcro fastenings and drawstrings at the waist allow the jacket to fit the individual silhouette. Very happy with the product quality I have worn this on backpacking trips and I really like the kangaroo pocket as it can be accessed even when you have a hip belt on for your backpack. The pocket is large enough that you can store some fairly large items so for example you could put a drone in there. I have never owned a Anorak before so its taken some getting used to getting in and out of it but I have now mastered this. The zippers are high quality and I really like the little button tabs at the bottom which prevents the zips from coming up. I did get the 3XL which is fairly large for me at 188cm 105kg but during the winter I tend to wear more layers so having a bigger size just makes it easier to get in and out of. I may purchase a smaller version for the warmer months.

In my opinion, this is a very good jacket – practical, well made, and it looks solid. The only downside is the too fitted, 'slim' cut, especially in the sleeves. I'm 184 cm tall and weigh 90 kg, that's why I chose size L, which fits: the length is adequate, the sleeves are sewn in such a way that they don't restrict shoulder movement, and it's also fitted around the torso, but tolerably so (enough to wear over a shirt, but less so with a thicker jumper). However, the sleeves are too narrow for me – when I bend my arms, they put pressure around the elbows. For outdoor clothing, lack of freedom of movement is a big disadvantage, but I kept the jacket and give it 4 stars, because apart from that I like it a lot, and it'll be good for summer. Also, the price was a bargain. Additionally, I’ll mention that I have another Helikon jacket, model M-65 (also L), and it’s very comfortable – thicker clothes fit underneath without any problem, and the sleeves are wide and comfortable. That's the model of a comfortable outdoor jacket. And these 'slim' ones seem made just for a fleeting fashion trend, not for practical people, more for those who want to show off in the city or at parties.

Very good quality workmanship. The jacket was bought for mountain trips. The inside pocket contains two separate compartments as well as additional small pockets in the outer layer – ideal for a phone or bits and pieces. The side zips, which open in two directions, work perfectly for ventilation or quick removal. When it's slightly freezing, combined with thermal underwear and a fleece, it protects well against the cold. Size XL fits comfortably at 192 cm tall and 85 kg, especially with a fleece underneath.

The Helikon Woodsman Anorak jacket - Crimson Sky/Ash Grey is currently one of the best options on the market. It provides effective protection against wind and rain while being highly breathable, making it suitable for any outdoor conditions. The durable material ensures long life, and the ergonomic cut allows freedom of movement while walking, working, or camping. Thanks to its anorak design, the jacket retains warmth without overheating, and practical pockets keep everything you need within reach. The adjustable hood increases comfort in difficult weather conditions. The fashionable yet practical Crimson Sky/Ash Grey colours work perfectly in nature. This is a great choice for people who expect the highest quality, versatility, and reliability – suitable for everyday use, outdoor activities, and survival all year round.

Great anorak. After buying the green one, I decided to get the black one too. The jacket works well both when cycling, in the forest, and for regular walks around the city. Combined with a thermal shirt and a thin fleece, it provides good protection even down to -5°C, and while moving, it still offers comfort at even lower temperatures. Size L is perfect for someone who is 182 cm tall and weighs 89 kg. The soft and stretchy material on the back is a big plus. The hood, even when not worn, effectively shields the neck from the wind. If you have any doubts, don’t hesitate – I highly recommend it!

Great product. It looks even better in reality than in the photos. Very solid workmanship. I chose size L instead of my usual XL and at my height of 182 cm and weight of 91 kg, the jacket fits perfectly without restricting freedom of movement. I bought the Taiga green version, but I'm also considering buying the black one to wear in the city, while the green will be for the forest. I definitely recommend it.
-
Great jacket. Carefully made, well designed and fits perfectly. It accentuates an athletic figure without feeling baggy. I am 183 cm tall and weigh 78 kg – the sleeves are just right, as is the length. It fits perfectly over a thin sweatshirt, but for a fleece I would have to choose size L. I haven't tried other options.
-
Great jacket – it's lightweight and breathable. I use it for mountain hikes and cycling. When folded, it takes up little space in the backpack and dries quickly. You have to get used to putting it on over your head, but the two side zips allow you to unzip it and turn it into a poncho. I'm 180 cm tall and weigh 90 kg – I chose size L, which gives me space for a thick fleece. Size M was too tight in the chest, you couldn't wear much underneath.
-
Very good anorak – both in terms of appearance and practicality. I chose size L for a height of about 177 cm and a weight of 85 kg – it fits perfectly, without restricting movement. A fleece easily fits underneath. I definitely recommend it.
-
Great jacket, size L easily fits a Helikon fleece underneath, which provides plenty of warmth. It protects perfectly against the wind and works well in the forest, as it is resistant to contact with branches. At first, the kangaroo pocket might seem strange, but it quickly becomes very practical. The zippered sides make putting on the jacket much easier – you can feel like a musketeer in a cloak 😂 Highly recommend!
-
Great jacket. Very good material, careful stitching, practical pockets and a brilliant idea with the side zips. I haven’t had the chance to test it in the rain yet, because since purchase there have been only heatwaves :) I recommend it!
-
Regarding size M. For a person who is 175 cm tall and weighs 65 kg, with a slim build, the Amorak fits perfectly. No problem fitting a Helikon fleece underneath, the sleeves are an excellent length – cycling is a real pleasure. The jacket fits well and does not restrict freedom of movement. Size S is also fine, but M provides more comfort, especially considering how you put it on. You can easily put an extra jumper underneath – but you don’t look like you’re wearing a sack. Excellent craftsmanship and materials. After the first tests, I definitely recommend it. The jacket is not cheap, but it’s worth investing in Helikon rather than cheaper anoraks for about 150 PLN. This is a purchase for many years, not just one season. Zips, adjustability, Velcro on the cuffs – all great. The Taiga Green colour is very impressive.

The product is excellent. The material is very good, the idea with the side zips is genius, especially for people with a belly... The grey-black version looks great. I truly recommend it. Super fast delivery!
-
Great jacket. The sizing is less generous than I thought. I'm glad I chose L, though I was considering M. The appearance, colours, and cut are excellent. The materials used are of the highest quality. I don't know about the durability of the colours yet, but I wholeheartedly recommend it. Fast shipping and top-quality service.
