Very good jacket. It's lightweight, easy to pack, yet keeps you warm. It's perfectly adequate for Polish winters in recent years. At minus 10 degrees, if you wear something warm underneath, it keeps you comfortable. Unfortunately, it doesn't protect against rain, but it works fine in light drizzle or snow. On the plus side, it’s very breathable. I definitely recommend it!
Helikon Wolfhound Hoodie Jacket - wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland
Hooded jacket in wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage, providing effective protection against cold, wind and light rain. Thanks to the use of synthetic Climashield Apex insulation, it guarantees optimal thermal insulation. It is equipped with four functional pockets: two classic hip pockets, one external pocket on the chest and one internal pocket. It will be perfect for both longer expeditions and everyday use.
Climashield Apex filling, VersaStretch, Windpack nylon material
The outer layer is Windpack nylon fabric, covered with Teflon coating, which protects against moisture. Responsible for insulation is a high-quality synthetic Climashield Apex filling with a grammage of 67 g/m², effectively protecting against the cold, even when completely wet. The insulation is distinguished by its lightness and excellent compression properties. Under the arms there are inserts made of flexible and breathable VersaStretch fabric, which significantly improves the comfort of the wearer.
Four practical pockets
The Wolfhound Hoodie model features four pockets with YKK zips:
- two standard hip pockets
- one inner pocket
- one external on the chest
Elastic cuffs, Velcro panel, transport cover
Effective protection against wind is provided by elastic trim located at the bottom of the jacket, at the cuffs and at the edge of the hood. There is a Velcro panel on the shoulder, which allows you to attach any patch or emblem, such as the national flag, unit emblem or Morale Patches.
Thanks to its low weight and good compressibility, the jacket takes up little space. The set includes a transport cover, which makes it easy to store and carry.

This is already my second wolfhound. The first one, in classic camogrom, I've had for five years and even though I didn't take care of it, the jacket still does its job perfectly – there are no abrasions and it still keeps me warm. I bought the second one only because it became available in woodland. Excellent product, I honestly recommend it.

For over a year I hesitated about buying this jacket, but its price, which seemed too high for such a thin garment, put me off. In the end, a promotion and KSK points convinced me to buy it. At first, I chose size L, which was appropriate, but not entirely comfortable because of my belly. I decided on XL, which turned out to be much looser and provides space for an extra layer, for example a fleece. The jacket is really light, comfortable, and considering its thickness, keeps you very warm – thanks to the insulation and windproof outer layer. Unfortunately, you still need a rain poncho (I choose one in the same Tramontane camouflage). The jacket copes fine with drizzle, but soaks through in heavier rain. The biggest advantages are its compact size when packed and its lightness – that's exactly why I chose it.

Very good jacket, exceptionally light, and just as importantly, it can be quickly packed into a pouch, so it is easy to carry with you. The price may seem high, but you have to pay for high quality. I definitely recommend it.
