Helikon Wire Saw

This hand chain saw is lightweight, handy and durable. It cuts wood and plastics effectively and it's easy to transport, though it does require a bit more effort for thicker branches.

Light saw, cuts well and is cheap, doesn't take up much space in a bag or backpack, although it's not long. It's very practical equipment and worth having just in case. It requires a bit of strength to cut, but I recommend it.

It's a very good product for this type of saw. In my opinion, it works best as an emergency piece of equipment. It's not suitable for daily, long-term use, but fits perfectly as gear for unexpected situations. I recommend it – high quality, it sawed through a 9 cm diameter piece of wood in five minutes.

Very practical gadget, especially useful in emergency situations. It's light, so it's good to have it on trips in nature. The saw works as it should, but remember to use it with straight arms – at too large an angle it cuts harder and gets stuck in wood.

In terms of quality, this is a really good product in this category of saws. In my opinion, it proves best as part of an emergency kit because it takes up little space and is used for quick cutting if needed. I do not recommend it for everyday and long-term use, but as part of your EDC equipment for emergent situations it's solid and worth having. I recommend it!

For this price, everyone should have this gadget in their backpack! It's great for thinner branches and handles them very well; it's just important to saw with arm movements as with a traditional saw.

The saw is a bit smaller than I expected, but perhaps that's for the best – it's easier to hide at your belt or in your pocket. It's light and inexpensive, so it seems a good investment. Packed in a cardboard box.

It's worth carrying just in case.

It cuts brilliantly, small, and for greater comfort, you can insert twigs between the rings when cutting.

It handles dry wood well and hardly slips at all once it gets the cutting point right.

Good choice for branches.

Surprisingly efficient – cutting a dead, quite damp branch with a diameter of about 8 cm in a test took only 3-4 minutes and didn't require much effort. It weighs practically nothing – it's worth having it in your backpack.

Cool gadget, I recommend using it with gloves or with sticks – one in each ring.

It saws as it should, but I agree that beginners should not use it with bare hands. Two thicker sticks or even a bundle of twigs placed in the metal rings definitely increases comfort. Otherwise, you can ruin your outdoor adventure.

Very light and compact saw. It really takes up little space. Useful for outdoor trips. I definitely recommend it!
