Helikon Winter Warden Long Sleeve Shirt - Slate Moorland Plaid
The long-sleeved shirt is sewn from 180 g/m2 fabric, which is a combination of damage-resistant polyester and stretch elastane. It is equipped with durable YKK zippers, Prym snaps and elastic inserts made of VersaStretch fabric. The interior is filled with 60 g/m2 synthetic insulation, which provides optimal thermal comfort.
Damage-resistant fabric and VersaStretch stretch panels
The 180 g/m2 fabric used in the production of the shirt (made of polyester and elastane) is quick-drying, guarantees very good breathability and demonstrates the ability to wick away moisture, which allows you to stay dry and comfortable, even during intense physical activity.
On the shoulders there are panels sewn from stretch VersaStretch fabric, which is characterized by resistance to abrasion and tearing, and thanks to its elasticity provides a great fit of the shirt to the figure.
60 g/m2 filling and windproof lining
The interior of the shirt is filled with a lightweight synthetic insulating material with a weight of 60 g/m2, made of polyester fibers, which is responsible for maintaining optimal body temperature and provides high thermal comfort. The model is also equipped with a polyester lining, which effectively protects against the wind.
Seven pockets to carry essentials
The shirt is equipped with seven pockets:
- two pockets on the chest, fastened with press studs
- two slant pockets on the sides, fastened with zippers
- one flat chest pocket with a zipper
- two roomy interior pockets with zippers

The quality of workmanship is excellent, the number of very spacious pockets is impressive, and the Velcro on the cuffs is an extremely convenient solution. Size L is perfect for a height of 180 cm. The shirt provides so much warmth that a simple T-shirt underneath is enough, even on cooler May days.

Very warm, relatively light, comfortable and well made. Although it’s not the cheapest product, it’s definitely worth the price. It proved itself during hiking trips with a backpack and riding a motorcycle in November. At 8 degrees, used as a second layer under a summer motorcycle jacket, it guarantees comfort during the ride. While trekking, I even found it got a bit too warm.

I really like this shirt and it immediately became my favourite. The pockets are very well arranged – there's space for documents, a phone, and to warm your hands. The shirt is warm, the material feels nice to the touch, and the snap fasteners hold well. Carhartt pales in comparison. The price could be a bit lower.
