Modern tactical shorts made of high-quality PoliCotton Stretch RipStop material (48% cotton, 50% polyester, 2% elastane), which is characterized by high resistance to abrasion and tearing, and is also lighter and dries faster than 100% cotton material.
An excellent compromise between military and civilian clothing - discreet cut, functionality of combat trousers. The innovative cut, proper stitching and fabric of the shorts ensure freedom of movement and durability. Thanks to the large number of pockets and their rational arrangement, the shorts are perfect for urban conditions, and will not disappoint during outdoor activities.
The shorts are equipped with ten practical pockets:
- two classic ones at hip height with reinforced edges,
- four on the thighs (two wide ones closed with a zipper and two narrow ones with Velcro),
- four on the back (two wide and two narrow ones located inside the wide ones).

In the shorts, instead of a button, there is a wide Velcro allowing adjustment within 6 cm. An elastic band was sewn into the waistband to improve the fit of the shorts to the individual features of the figure.
The belt loops allow the use of a belt up to 50 mm wide, and the two front ones are equipped with additional loops for attaching, for example, a carabiner.

Camouflage Rhodesian Camo
Rhodesian Camo is a classic camouflage pattern developed in the 1960s for the Rhodesian Armed Forces (today's Zimbabwe). Created for warfare during conflicts in the region, especially the so-called Bush War (1964-1979), it was adapted to the conditions of southern Africa - dry bushland, grassy plains and low vegetation. The pattern is distinguished by its unique hand-painted appearance reminiscent of brushstrokes. It consists of irregular horizontal shapes in shades of green and brown, placed on a light green or sandy background. With a three-color contrasting palette and an arrangement that resembles natural elements of the environment - such as leaves, branches and grasses - the camouflage effectively diffuses the outline of the silhouette and makes it difficult to detect in the densely vegetated landscape.

After a month of use, I can say they are fine. I really like the camouflage, but that’s a matter of taste. For people with a bigger belly, the elastic waistband is a great advantage. And it's a product from a Polish company, so you can support a domestic brand.

The shorts are very comfortable and practical. They are more fitted than traditional BDUs, have convenient velcro adjustment, and a unique, unusual camouflage. They would be perfect for hiking trips.

The shorts are extremely comfortable, well fitted, and the thigh pockets are very well designed and functional. Additionally, the chosen Rhodesian camouflage is a big plus in terms of appearance. I definitely recommend them.

After buying five pairs of long UTP shorts, I decided to try my first short UTS in Desert Night Camo and, once again, I'm very satisfied with the quality. The short version seems to have a slightly thicker material, which, in my opinion, will translate into greater durability. In reality, they are darker than pictured on Militaria.pl, which I consider a plus. I was worried that an 11' length would be too much, but with my XL dimensions, it turned out to be perfect (183/93).

Very nice trousers. Maybe a bit too eye-catching for a trip to the forest, but they are very well made, comfortable and attract attention. In general, I recommend all Helikon products. I already have several and I am very satisfied with them. The prices are high, but the quality matches. And of course, we support a Polish manufacturer :)

Extremely comfortable trousers that work well both in the city and on trips. The large number of pockets allows you to safely store everything you need – no fear of losing your belongings! I also bought this model for my children. The sizing is absolutely correct. I truly recommend them!

I agree with other opinions – these are great shorts with an interesting camouflage pattern. I followed the advice that they are not elastic and chose a larger size. Maybe I got a better version, because mine can stretch and I have about 2 cm of room.

Very comfortable and pleasant to wear shorts. The material is not stretchy, but comfortable. The pockets are well designed, including two with zippers, so you won't lose anything. The material is sturdy, and I hope they will last a long time.

Helikon UTS are basically a shorter version of UTP – the workmanship and cut are just as excellent. I already have UTP trousers in Rhodesian camouflage and the UTS have not disappointed me either. I definitely recommend them.

The shorts have an original pattern that I liked immediately. I would describe the fit as “slim fit,” but I think the pockets are a bit too narrow. If I were to buy them again, I would choose a bigger size. After several washes, the colours are still vivid and fresh, and the reinforcements on the seams are an added bonus.

After buying another pair of UTS shorts, I have mixed feelings. The cut and sewing are at a traditionally high level, but the material in the Night Camo version is different from the standard green or coyote ones. It's described as stretch ripstop but I can't see any elasticity, and it's also thick and stiff. It doesn't resemble the breathable ripstop I know from Helikon products, it's more similar to cotton UTP shorts. As short shorts, they could be better. On the plus side, the night camo looks much better in real life.

This is already my third pair of these shorts. The camouflage was the most important thing for me, but the quality and practicality are at the highest level – totally different from typical BDUs. I honestly recommend them – they work well both in a hot climate and in summer in Poland.
