Helikon UTP PolyCotton Stretch Rip-Stop Trousers - ERDL
Grey coloured UTP (Urban Tactical Trousers) trousers sewn from high-quality PolyCotton Stretch Rip-Stop fabric with a grammage of 220 g/m2. The fabric is characterised by high resistance to abrasion and tears, which ensures long-lasting use. Thanks to the clever arrangement of the numerous pockets, the trousers are suitable for both urban environments and outdoor activities.
Resistant PolyCotton Stretch fabric, durable lining and Rip-Stop weave
The 220 g/m2 PolyCotton Stretch fabric consists of breathable cotton (50%), durable polyester (48%) and elastane (2%). It provides a great fit while standing out for its resistance to mechanical damage, and is also lighter and dries faster compared to all-cotton materials.
The reinforced Rip-Stop weave structure, with thicker threads forming a mesh, protects the fabric from further damage in the event of a hole or tear.
12 functional pockets and compartments for protective inserts
The trousers feature 12 pockets:
- two classic pockets on the hips, with reinforced edges
- four on the thighs (two wide, zipped and two narrow with a Velcro fastener)
- four rear pockets (two wide and two narrow, placed inside the wide ones)
- two internal pockets in the groin area, ideal for a tactical torch or spare magazine
There are baffles at knee height, which allow protective inserts to be inserted.
Velcro for width adjustment, stretch band and loops for accouterment
Wide Velcro replaces the traditional button, providing a 6 cm adjustment. A stretch band sewn into the waistband ensures a better fit. The two front loops are equipped with additional loops for attaching a carabiner, for example.

ERDL camouflage
The ERDL (Engineer Research and Development Laboratory) camouflage was developed in 1948 by an American research laboratory. It did not come into wide use until the 1960s, during the Vietnam War, mainly among special and reconnaissance units. It was on its basis that later designs, such as the Woodland and M81, known around the world today, were developed. The green-brown camouflage palette works well in dense vegetation, European deciduous forests, thickets and mixed woodlands.
