Helikon Utility Light Shorts - Mud Brown

Very practical and comfortable shorts! The Helikon Utility Light model fits perfectly, has lots of pockets, and is lightweight yet durable. Perfect for summer, both for outdoor activities and everyday use.

The shorts are interesting, lightweight, sturdy and comfortable. I was worried that the numerous pockets might be a nuisance on short shorts, which should allow for comfortable movement, but my concerns were unfounded. I recommend them.

I am 172 cm tall and weigh 94 kg, I chose size L, which is quite loose and comfortable. The side pocket easily fits an iPhone 13 Pro in a leather case, so it's roomy. I don't know what the back pocket is for, but you can unfasten it during heatwaves since it’s made of mesh, so it can provide ventilation. I am satisfied – I think I would also fit into size M, because L is rather loose in the waist and the legs, but they fit very well and don’t restrict movement. The legs, unlike ordinary shorts from other brands, stick out more at the front than at the back, which fits the anatomy better and gives more freedom. The front pockets are very long, almost as long as the whole leg. The price of 175.99 PLN is high, I would buy them again for 129 PLN.

So far, all my orders from Helikon have been successful – and it’s the same this time. The combination of nylon and elastane has resulted in a material that is light, durable, and pleasant to the touch. A practical solution is the rear, horizontal pocket, ideal for a phone. I can wholeheartedly recommend them.

These are already my second pair of these shorts. I bought them a bit blindly, but I already had experience with OTP or OTUS shorts made from similar material. The loose fit and freedom of movement are advantages, and the additional pockets will certainly come in handy in the future. With a waist of 80–82 cm, size M is a little loose, but you can adjust it with the drawstring or a light belt. I recommend products made from this material by Helikon.

So far, I've only done one workout in them. They rustle a little with some movements, but they seem really well made, just like the OTP or OTUS trousers. They provide plenty of freedom, especially when doing leg exercises. We'll see how they hold up after a few washes. For now, I’m very satisfied.
