Helikon U.S. Model Poncho - Earth Brown

As always with Helikon, the quality of workmanship and usefulness are of a high standard. I have one piece in each car and backpack to complement the Swagman Roll and Swagman Scarf. In total, I have collected 5 sets.

Previously, I used a poncho bought in supermarkets, which wasn't very durable. The Helikon poncho so far works much better – it's easy to clean and dries in no time. A medium-sized backpack fits under it without any trouble.

I bought it at a promotional price and I think it was a good purchase. In the rain, a poncho that covers your body and backpack works better than a jacket, in which it is easy to get sweaty.

I've tried many tarps – this poncho is really high quality and works well in all conditions. Protects against rain and wind, dries quickly and takes up little space when folded.

The poncho is very carefully made; it's light and handy – perfect for trips to the mountains or forest. The camouflage is very effective and will work, for example, for fishing. Additionally, the functional cover helps save space in the backpack after packing the poncho.

The Helikon poncho is very lightweight and takes up little space in the backpack when packed. I tested it during heavy rain and it worked perfectly. PenCott Wildwood is a camouflage ideally suited for the forest amid greenery. I would definitely buy it again.

The product is very useful, especially due to its various uses – you can also use the poncho as a tarp, for which the manufacturer has provided special eyelets. Lightweight and, when rolled up, takes up little space in the included bag. I recommend it, very handy item.

This is my second Helikon poncho, I chose the camouflage version to use more often as a tarp. It does its job flawlessly. The metal eyelets allow you to fasten snaps or can be used for attaching guy lines or fixing it to the ground, but the diameter of the eyelets is too small for some aluminium pegs – even those made by Helikon.

Excellent poncho, tested during heavy rain – very satisfied. High quality and as described, fair price, I definitely recommend it. My friend was right in saying that the neck opening is too narrow – you need to take off your helmet to put it on. Maybe widening it would be a good idea.

Tested in the field and it performed excellently. The cut is great, it has strong eyelets, good double-sided snaps, and a large hood. The clear advantage is the Pencott Wildwood camouflage, thanks to which the poncho is good for hiding or discreetly staying in the forest.

Great 2-in-1 poncho – it's lightweight, handy, protects against rain, and if needed, can be used as a tarp. Ideal for camping or travelling. It's rather light and doesn't take up much space.

Solid workmanship makes the poncho a bit heavier than cheaper models, but it's worth it – you get what you pay for. If bought on promotion it gives even more satisfaction.

The poncho works well, it is strong and durable. However, there are two drawbacks: the head opening should be larger so you can put it on with a military helmet, and the product itself could be longer — when put on over a backpack it ends up too high and water runs down the trousers, causing them to get wet in heavy rain. Making the poncho longer and enlarging the head opening would raise the product to a much higher level.

Great poncho from Helikon – it has saved me on the trail during heavy rain more than once. It’s waterproof and made from strong, durable materials, so it’ll last a long time. Definitely recommend.
