The jacket is light and comfortable, providing good freedom of movement and flexibility. The softshell jacket itself does not provide much warmth, so on cooler days or in strong wind it is worth wearing something underneath. For this reason, I rate it 3 stars.
Lightweight softshell jacket, sewn from StormStretch material, which is a blend of 98% nylon and 2% elastane. The material is highly resistant to abrasion and tearing, while remaining flexible, providing comfort and freedom of movement.
The Trooper MK2 model is an improved version of the Trooper jacket and features a more practical cut, better fitting sizing, and redesigned pocket placement.
The jacket is equipped with 4 pockets, arranged to ensure access is not blocked by backpack straps or a waist belt. Two pockets with internal organizers are located at chest level, while another two — equipped with Velcro panels for patches and emblems (such as a national flag, unit insignia, or morale patches) — are located on the shoulders.
The collar-retractable hood is fitted with a contoured visor and a drawstring to enhance its fit. The jacket's extended cut protects the lower back and kidneys from the wind.

I hesitated for a long time before buying this jacket. Ultimately, the lack of a complete ECWCS set offered by the Ministry of Defence prompted me to purchase it. So far, I have had the opportunity to use it for two days in November. It works well as a light and handy layer protecting against the wind. However, its effectiveness depends on appropriate underwear and fleeces, which help to keep warm. The jacket seems really resistant to mechanical damage.

The Helikon Trooper Stormstretch Softshell Mk2 jacket (wz. 93 Pantera PL Woodland) is an excellent choice. The material is very stretchy, which ensures full freedom of movement, and at the same time protects well against wind and light rainfall. The hood fits great, the pockets are very practical, and the quality of workmanship is high. The PL Woodland camouflage looks outstanding and blends perfectly with the surroundings. Using it outdoors is a real pleasure — I highly recommend it!

Very good jacket – compared to the Trooper MK1, many interesting and well-thought-out improvements have been introduced, although the lumbar pocket is now missing. The workmanship is of a high standard.

I highly recommend the Trooper MK2 jacket. At first, I was worried about the size, because I usually wear XL from this company, and this time I chose L, which turned out to fit perfectly. Now it just needs to be tested out in the field. Highly recommended.

The jacket is extremely comfortable, has a hidden hood and dries quickly. It fits very well and has a great cut. I am very satisfied, I would order it in another colour as well, but unfortunately brown is not available at the moment.

The jacket is exceptionally lightweight, comfortable and well made. It has enough pockets, although the front pockets are placed a bit higher, which takes some getting used to. It protects against light rain, but during heavier downpours, it can let through water after a while in places under pressure, for example on the shoulders under a backpack, which is typical for softshells. The sizing matches the size chart – I chose M at 180 cm tall and 81 kg, and the jacket isn’t tight. Ordering and delivery were very efficient. I recommend it!

I give it five stars - the jacket is great, very light, windproof and deals well with light rain. It’s quite long, covers the back, so it doesn’t let the wind in from below.

This jacket is an absolute essential. It's lightweight, comfortable, and made from solid material. It takes up little space in a backpack. I had the previous Mk I version, now I’m using Mk II and definitely recommend it. The colours don’t fade in the wash, the pockets are practical, and the hood can be packed away. The quality-to-price ratio is very favourable.

Hi! The jacket is extremely comfortable, with no complaints about the quality, which I expected from Helikon. The sleeve pockets are new to me and surprisingly practical. The underarm ventilation in this jacket is my first time with such a feature – it makes a huge difference and now I can't imagine a jacket without it. I definitely recommend it!

Compared to the first Trooper, it is lighter and has better-positioned chest pockets. Great as an emergency option for your backpack or car.

I have just received the new jacket. I also have the previous model. Unfortunately, I have to admit that Helikon has reduced the quality compared to the old, tried and tested version. The jacket has become looser and doesn’t have as many improvements as the older one. On the plus side, the material is a bit thicker, more resembling the WZ colour than in the previous edition. I’ll think about whether to buy it again when I wear this one out. 420 zł is quite a lot for me.

I have the first generation of this jacket and compared to the Mk2 version, I’ve noticed a few changes – mainly a different cut, different placement of sleeve pockets, and a different hood shape. It takes a bit of getting used to, but the jacket is just as good as the first edition.

Great softshell jacket, very breathable, perfect for hikes. It also copes well with heavy rain. Overall, it’s truly an excellent choice.

The description of the fifth pocket has already been corrected and is fine. Size 2XL – the width is correct, it is 138 cm, the sleeve length from the collar is 84.5 cm (the diagram may be misleading), the back length is 85 cm, and the front is 67 cm, all measured without the collar.
