Helikon Swagman Roll Climashield Apex Poncho with sleeping bag function - Aqua Blue

I purchased the Helikon-Tex Swagman Roll (Climashield Apex) cover/poncho in PenCott WildWood camouflage, and I can confidently say it was an excellent choice. What I really like about it: Dual functionality: it can be used both as a lightweight sleeping bag/insulating jacket and as a protective poncho. The material — nylon and Climashield Apex filling — provides really good thermal insulation even in damp conditions. Neat format when folded (29 × 19 cm) and still quite light (approx. 762 g), so easy to take on a trip. Well-thought-out design — front zip, pocket, DWR (water-repellent) coating — which increases comfort in the field. PenCott WildWood camouflage — both functional and aesthetic (if you care about an outdoor look).

Nice colour. Easy to put on, as well as roll up and store in the cover. The material is not thick, rather for lighter, cooler nights, as a solo sleeping bag it might be too thin – it will be better as a supplement to another sleeping bag. The pocket is also nice. The price now finally reflects the quality and nature of the product, previously in my opinion it was definitely too high.

I hesitated for a long time about buying it, as I wasn't sure if I would find it useful. Eventually, a promotion tempted me and I have no regrets – it works great as a summer sleeping bag, and now I keep it in my boot all the time. I recommend it!

A versatile product, carefully made. It works well as extra insulation when camping, and on warmer nights it can replace a sleeping bag. I recommend it as an add-on, but not as the only solution for all conditions. It's worth waiting for a promotion if you're not in a hurry.

WORTH EVERY PENNY. I bought it for myself, and I'm thinking about getting one for the rest of my family and another version without the climatshield for wearing around the house on cold days. It's warm but doesn't cause excessive sweating.

This really warm poncho from Helikon in tiger stripe is one of my best purchases this year. Its universal use for this price is a big advantage. It works great as an underquilt for a hammock. I often use it as a blanket on cool evenings. I highly recommend this product.

This is a great item to strap to your backpack just in case. During a break in sunny weather it serves as a blanket, and in the evening it provides extra warmth, while in rain it works as a poncho with good ventilation. Unfortunately, as a sleeping bag it's a bit too short for tall people.

The flagship product of Helikon Tex. The manufacturer has really surprised me with the solutions – poncho, sleeping bag, blanket, liner, and it also provides warmth when needed. The sleeping bag itself is rather for summer, but as emergency equipment for the car – it's a revelation.

As a poncho, this product would not have interested me much, but its versatility convinced me to buy it. It really does offer many uses: poncho, insulation mat, sleeping bag, blanket, and hammock underquilt. I haven't yet tried how it will perform with longer hammocks. As a poncho, it is very warm and the material feels pleasant to the touch. For now, the only drawback is the high price, but aside from that I definitely recommend it.

Brilliant product! It can be used as a poncho, sleeping bag, blanket, or insulation for a chilly hammock or cot. The "tiger stripe" camouflage version has the advantage of being black on the inside – dirt is less visible, and during the day the black lining can work well as a warning colour, as it contrasts much more clearly with the green of the forest than the olive interiors of other models.

In bushcraft, the trend towards lighter gear is increasingly visible, which encourages choosing multi-purpose equipment. The Helikon Swagman is a perfect example of such a product. I've had the Swagman in coyote for six years and I'm very satisfied. Now I've decided to try the more 'tactical' version with camouflage. I recommend both the product and the shop Militaria.pl.

This is my first Swagman. The Pencott Wildwood camouflage works great in the forest. Although products designed to do everything usually don't meet expectations, this model is a pleasant surprise. Its versatility is a huge advantage – you can use it as a hammock underquilt, jacket, or sleeping bag. Of course, if you consider each function individually, there are better options, but as a versatile piece of kit, the Swagman is second to none. With small carabiners, I use it as an underquilt; it's also good while walking – it doesn't interfere with wearing a backpack – and as a sleeping bag, though it lacks a baffle on the zip, so I felt colder drafts. The Climashield insulation and overall workmanship are top quality, nothing to criticise.
