I haven't had the chance to use it yet. The idea seems interesting. I have doubts about the instructions, which say to submerge the bag in clean water first. If I had that much clean water, I wouldn't need filtration. Perhaps this makes sense with larger quantities, but at the start, I'd already need about half a litre of clean water. I'm also wondering how the manufacturer envisaged cleaning it – after turning the bag inside out, the material starts to fray, and you need to scrub it well to prevent mould.

I'm very positively surprised; I had previously tried to make a preliminary filter myself, and here you get a ready-made, excellently crafted product from good materials. Highly recommend.
