Helikon OTP VersaStretch Lite Trousers - Black

At 30 degrees Celsius I felt comfortable, the trousers are very comfortable, they have surprisingly spacious pockets and seem exceptionally sturdy. Additionally, they look good and aren't too attention-grabbing.

These are the best trousers I've had the chance to wear: they're light, stretchy, fit perfectly, and don't restrict movement. The cut is very well thought out, and items in the pockets fit very comfortably. This is already another pair of these trousers in my wardrobe.

The trousers are exceptionally comfortable; I ordered them for my ancestor, who is very happy with them. He wanted to buy all the green variants as well, but the short M size is no longer available.

The trousers are very light and thin. Personally, it's not to my liking, but I won't deduct points as they might be perfect for someone else in the summer. Due to the delicacy of the material, they fit less well and don't allow for knee pads, which was important to me, so I returned the product. This information should be included in the description of both the Lite and the regular versions.

These are another pair of trousers from this series but in a different cut. This time, they are made from exceptionally thin, stretchy material, which increases comfort. However, despite choosing the same size (M-Short for 178 cm and about 82 kg without a belly), I feel like the bottom of the legs is narrower than in previous models, which may result from the different type of material.

These are my next pair of trousers from this series (UTP), size M short for 178 cm and 80 kg without a belly. They are very light, made of thin, flexible material, perfect for hot days. However, because of the material used, the bottom of the legs seems narrower than in the same trousers made from thicker fabric. I'm not a fan of a baggy cut, but the tapered legs make my thighs look broader, so overall the look is a bit worse than the previous version in the same cut and size.

This is already my next pair, this time in a larger size, as I mentioned before – it is definitely worth spending money on these trousers. Especially for working in uniform during summer – they are breathable, comfortable, and don’t rustle when walking. I also have the first OTP model without the 'lite' mark, which does make a bit of noise, but this one doesn’t.

I find these trousers very light and comfortable. I don’t understand why some people say they rustle – to me, they feel like a second skin. I think they might be confused with classic OTP, which are actually thicker and rustle. Breezy, perfect for summer, which is exactly why I bought them. It is good to choose the right size – I had to exchange them and now they’re great. I recommend getting them while they’re available in the full size range, as later at Helikon you often have to wait a long time for restock – they’re in high demand not only in Poland!

The trousers are very comfortable and light. They're perfect for hot days and have practical pockets. I have the short version, and now also the long one.

Very light and airy trousers. The material is thin but durable. Best from May to September. For my measurements (188 cm/105 kg) size 3XL fits best. The trousers don't make noise when walking. I recommend them!

Very nice shorts – they are light, flexible, provide warmth and allow air through. Great for summer and transitional periods. Unfortunately, they are quite noisy, which makes them unsuitable for military, survival or bushcraft use. If Helikon improves the rustling aspect and introduces more colours, I will definitely consider buying them again.

Krzysztof described these trousers excellently in his review. For now, I'm waiting for warmer days so I can wear them. To sum up – classic OTP, just made of thinner material. Helikon knows their stuff, I recommend them.

Like their ‘older (thicker) brother’, they are incredibly comfortable, very functional, and made of excellent material (which I even managed to clean after difficult tar stains). Ideal for warm days.

OTP trousers made from VersaStretch Lite material are indeed thinner than those made from VersaStretch. They are very sturdily sewn. I only wonder how long the pockets made from nylon mesh will last. I used them in temperatures from 16 to 29 degrees Celsius. They are excellent both for walking and driving, even when the cargo pockets are full – that's thanks to their placement. The material is soft and almost unnoticeable on the body. A slight rustle when walking, in my opinion, is an individual matter – it doesn't bother me. The colour is very universal. Stains, e.g., from toothpaste, are easy to remove with a damp cloth. They do not absorb moisture and, if they get wet, dry very quickly.

The trousers are very thin, so they dry quickly and are great for summer. The pockets are positioned quite well, but in my opinion, an important feature is missing – the ability to adjust the width of the legs, which significantly limits their practicality.
