Helikon MBDU NyCo Rip-Stop Uniform Set - wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland

A uniform set consisting of a shirt and trousers in the MBDU pattern and wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage. It is made of NyCo fabric, which is a blend of nylon and cotton. The fabric is additionally secured with a Rip-Stop weave, which prevents it from tearing. This model has properties similar to those of the Polish Army's contract uniforms.

The set is made of a grammage 225 g/m2 fabric, which is a combination of cotton (50%) and nylon (50%), secured with a Rip-Stop weave. The structure of the fabric significantly increases its resistance to abrasion and tearing, while thicker threads form a mesh that reinforces the fabric, preventing damage from spreading. As a result, the trousers perform well in difficult terrain, guaranteeing durability and comfort. An additional layer of VersaStretch fabric has been used on the seat and crotch for greater freedom of movement.

The shirt has four pockets:

• two chest pockets with zips
• two shoulder pockets

The trousers are equipped with eight spacious pockets:

• two inset pockets on the hips with reinforced edges
• two back pockets with reinforced edges
• two large, roomy cargo pockets with button fastenings
• two smaller pockets on the calves with Velcro fastenings

Velcro strips are sewn above the pockets of the jacket, allowing various emblems to be attached, such as national flags, unit emblems or morale patches, giving the jacket a personal touch. For better ventilation, mesh panels are placed under the arms to improve breathability.

Instead of buttons, the trousers have a wide Velcro fastener, which allows for adjustment at the waist to suit individual body types. The opening is closed with a YKK zip. Wide belt loops allow the use of belts with a maximum width of 50 mm, ensuring stability even under heavy loads. Two front belt loops include loops for attaching small accessories. At the bottom of the legs there are elastic cords with stoppers for adjustment.

The wz.93 "Pantera" camouflage pattern is currently used by the Polish Armed Forces. It was the first camouflage pattern designed and introduced into widespread use in the Third Polish Repubic. The 1993 pattern combines mimetic and deforming properties through the use of irregular spots of various sizes. The color scheme, based on green, brown, and black, has been adapted to the conditions of Polish forests, making "Pantera" a good choice for operations in the native terrain. Uniforms in this camouflage pattern are also part of the basic equipment for students of Military Uniform Classes.
