Helikon MBDU NyCo Rip-Stop Shirt - MM14
Combat shirt in MM14 camouflage, sewn according to the design of MBDU (Modern Battle Dress Uniform). Made from durable NyCo material, additionally reinforced with Rip-Stop weave. The anatomical fit and side elastic inserts made of VeraStretch fabric ensure a fit and full freedom of movement.
NyCo material, rip-stop weave, and elastic VeraStretch panels
The shirt is made from durable NyCo fabric, combining the strength of nylon (52%) with the breathability and softness of natural cotton (48%). This material is further complemented by a Rip-Stop weave, preventing tearing, and increasing resistance to mechanical damage.
In the side parts of the shirt, there are elastic inserts made of VeraStretch material, which increase freedom of movement and wearing comfort, especially during dynamic activities.
four practical pockets
The model is equipped with four pockets:
- two on the chest, fastened with zips
- two on the sleeves, at shoulder height (with an internal loop)
button closure, collar with velcro, adjustable cuffs
The shirt fastens with buttons and is equipped with a collar that can be raised and secured with Velcro. The sleeve cuffs are also fitted with Velcro, allowing their adjustment and fitting to the wrists or worn gloves.
velcro and mesh panels
Above the pockets and on the shoulders are velcro panels, allowing the attachment of various patches or emblems, e.g., a national flag, unit insignia, or so-called Morale Patches. For better air circulation, under the arms are mesh panels, enhancing breathability.

MM14 camouflage
The name MM-14 is an abbreviation of маскувальний малюнок (maskuvalʹnyy malyunok = camouflage pattern) and the year 2014 when the camouflage was approved. The pattern is similar to the American UCP camouflage, but shades were chosen to match the natural colours of Ukraine. The introduction of MM-14 was an important step in the reform of the Ukrainian army, designed to move away from post-Soviet identification. MM14 camouflage is also unofficially known as Ukrainian Pixel Camo and Ukrainian Digital Camo.
