Very good socks, as others have noticed, they are a bit thick but it doesn't affect comfort in use. I recommend them for long hikes, especially with good boots.
Spring-summer socks from Polish company Helikon. Wearing comfort is ensured by a wide, non-pressure welt, a flat connection above the toes that is not perceptible to the foot, and a reinforced zone on the heel to aid cushioning and protect against abrasions. Excellent adhesion of the sock to the foot is guaranteed by the anatomical design of the heel (Y - visible in the diagram).
Microfibers of Coolmax® (40%) are responsible for rapid absorption of water from the skin side and its rapid evaporation, which provides a feeling of dry freshness and protects against excessive overheating of the body.

The sock material has changed for the better, just like Helikon-tex underwear, which is now more modern. The socks may wear out faster as they are thin, but in return they ventilate the feet very well in boots and are exceptionally comfortable.

Nice socks, they wick away sweat and moisture well, though they are quite warm, so they're suitable all year round. Unfortunately, a hole appeared after a few months.

Good morning. I’ll try to be fair in my assessment... The socks were tested with "Bennon Commodore Light 01 Brown" shoes at 36°C in the shade, a few walks up to 1 km around the city, then a long time indoors without air conditioning, shoes on feet for a total of 9 hours. During the day it was warm, but my feet didn’t overheat, I didn’t notice any chafing or blisters, and my legs weren’t particularly tired. After taking the shoes off, my feet stayed dry – they didn’t leave wet marks on the floor or in the socks. I am very satisfied. I rate them 5. I’ll return for more pairs for the whole working week. I recommend them!

Ideal socks for hot days. Combined with decent footwear, they effectively wick moisture away from the shoe. Often on promotion at Militaria.pl – that's where I usually buy Helikon products. I definitely recommend.

I think the price is a bit high. However, the materials are well chosen. For me, the sock is a bit too long, although my foot fits perfectly. I’ve noticed that my feet sweat less in them – at least that’s my impression.

The weight of 92g must include the packaging, as my scales show 65g, which is visible in the construction of the sock. The sole and heel are fine, the thickness is average – sufficient for trekking and longer walks, but the upper part of the sock is made from a very thin material, which slips on the foot when walking. When under heavy effort, the material doesn't cope with moisture wicking, and during walks in the rain it's easy to get blisters or abrasions from the laces. They might work for light outings on summer days, but for proper trekking I prefer other brands – Smartwool, Bridgedale, Brubeck etc.

Another great product from Helikon – a Polish manufacturer, with excellent workmanship. Definitely worth buying. I’ve already used the socks and felt the comfort right after putting them on. After the whole day’s use, they still remain fresh.

I decided to try a few brands of socks with coolmax: Pentagon, M-tac, Wisport and these turned out to be definitely the best. Surprisingly comfortable on warm days, comfortable and a pleasure to wear.

They are worth their price.

After very positive experiences with the warmest version of Helikon's Merino wool socks, I decided to buy the lightest version for summer. After several longer outings, I'm impressed – they fit the foot perfectly, are comfortable and breathable, and my feet do not sweat in them.
-
Unfortunately, after nine months of intensive use, a large hole appeared on the heel. It's a pity because I liked them a lot.
-
The socks are pleasant to touch and very comfortable.
-
Very breathable and pleasant to the touch socks. I think they felt cooler than regular everyday socks.
-
Really highly recommended socks. I use them daily and for walks in the forest.
