Helikon Leaf Ghillie US Woodland camo suit

Lightweight Leaf Ghillie camouflage outfit from Helikon in US Woodland camouflage. It was made of durable and moisture-resistant polyester. Its loose, voluminous cut allows it to be worn over any type of clothing and headgear, even when carrying a backpack or other gear.

It can be used as a classic outfit or as a camouflage curtain. Double-sided printed artificial leaves in camouflage enhance the ability to blend in with the surroundings. Rows of paracord lines on the top side allow for attaching additional camouflage from the environment (grasses, ferns, etc.). The roll-up front makes it easy to access a vest or other items of equipment. It can be combined with a standard USGI poncho, or with a Swagman Roll to camouflage larger areas.

When folded, it takes up very little space and weighs much less than a standard full camouflage suit. The compression pouch makes it easy to store and transport.

Woodland, also known as U.S. Woodland or M81, is a classic camouflage pattern introduced to the US Armed Forces in the early 1980s, based on the earlier ERDL camouflage. For over two decades, it remained the standard pattern used by the US military until the end of the first decade of the 21st century. It is characterized by large, irregular patches in shades of green, brown, beige, and black, which provide good camouflage and deformation properties, especially in wooded areas. Thanks to its effectiveness and global recognition, it has spawned numerous variations that have found their way into over 60 uniform formations around the world. The pattern has also had a huge impact on popular culture, shifting from military applications to everyday fashion.
