The pouch is solidly made, however, it does not fit three AK 47 – 74 magazines. Removing the magazines is very difficult – you will tear the pouch off the Velcro faster than you will pull out a magazine. That's why I only give it 2 stars.

Modular front flap featuring an integrated pouch that holds three magazines, made of polyester. The elastic shock cord with anti-slip pull tabs effectively stabilises the contents and prevents magazines from accidentally falling out.
The front panel includes a MOLLE/PALS-compatible modular section (6 columns in 3 rows), allowing additional pouches or tactical accessories to be attached. On the sides, loops with interwoven shock cords enable carrying small pieces of equipment.
The construction is fully compatible with the Helikon Guardian Plate Carrier from the Helikon Patrol Line series. The Guardian Flap is attached to the vest using two buckles and Velcro fasteners, while the anti-slip pull tabs sewn into the lower corners facilitate quick detachment of the module.

The Helikon Guardian Flap pouch is solid and allows for storage of magazines for the Grot. I think the elastic bands could be stronger and better finished. A version fitting four magazines would also be useful.
