Helikon Foxhole Bag 4,5 l - Coyote

I bought this product intending to attach it to my backpack or wear it on my belt. I was pleasantly surprised by its capacity and solid workmanship. The set includes a strap, but it is quite short and wearing it over the shoulder, like a quiver, is uncomfortable. If someone wants to wear the pouch on their back or in front, like a waist bag, they should buy an additional Helikon strap to extend it. However, the best solution seems to be attaching it under the backpack. Inside, you can easily fit a Triangia Micro stove set with a 0.5l pot, and there is still space for food or other accessories. You can also pack a tarp and poncho – both will fit easily. I think with tight packing, a bushman blanket or a light sleeping bag will also fit.

Perfect! Very practical. Allows you to attach a jacket to the outside of a bag for quick access and to free up space/volume. I might have to buy a second one!

The bag is very versatile – you can wear it on its own with a strap or attach it to a backpack thanks to its compatibility with the MOLLE/PALS system. Its 4.5-litre capacity works great for everyday use – it can fit a bottle, a jacket, small items, and if you pack it well, even more things. I definitely recommend it.

Great bag. After watching many reviews on YouTube and taking advantage of a special offer, I bought two at once and am very pleased. The only thing is that for a slim person it may not be very comfortable to wear it on the waist. My size is S, or W30, and on the Foxhole belt it feels a bit loose, I would like to tighten it more, but there is no more adjustment. Still, I'm thrilled with the bag and the coyote colour.

I noticed this bag with other people and I liked it. After buying it, I am very satisfied with it. It has a lot of space and, thanks to the fact that you can use it both as a pocket in a backpack and as a separate bag with a strap, it's really great! The promotion was excellent. I recommend it!

Helikon Foxhole 4.5 l Bag - Shadow Grey. I was waiting for a price offer and finally it appeared. For just over 50 PLN I got a high-quality external bag. I just don't understand why they've used plastic clips again instead of the traditional molle system – that's the only downside I can point out here.

The bag is solidly made, although it does have some significant flaws. Instead of classic molle straps, the manufacturer used plastic clips which, although made of strong material, will wear out the quickest. They also can’t be attached as firmly as traditional molle/pals straps, so when running, the bag is less securely attached to the backpack. The material and the way the roll-top is closed secure the contents from moisture well, which is important for this type of bag.

A very light and spacious bag, which can be used as an additional pocket for a backpack (which is how I use it) or on its own. As usual, Helikon’s products are characterised by very high quality workmanship. I already have quite a few and none of them has let me down in terms of functionality or aesthetics.

The bag works perfectly as an extra pocket. Solidly made, lightweight, small and allows you to attach other accessories as well as secure it to a backpack or bag with MOLLE/PALS. It's big enough to fit a rolled-up fleece or jacket. The roll-top closed with a buckle protects the inside from unwanted items or sand. Buckles on the sides allow safe mounting on the selected side. The carrying strap allows the bag to be worn over the shoulder or at the belt, and the elastic string allows for compressing the contents. It would be great if the manufacturer offered larger bag sizes in the future.

I recommend this 4.5l bag to anyone who finds a typical waist bag too small and a 10L backpack too big for short outings. You can easily fit a knife, a water bottle and perhaps a lightweight, compressed jacket. You can also attach it to a backpack as an additional pocket. There are really many possibilities of use. The bag itself is very light, so it’s worth having it with you just in case.

I didn’t expect the product to be this good. It looks unassuming but actually holds a lot. It has elastic draw cords and a roll-top, waterproof closure. You can wear it as a waist bag, shoulder bag or attach it under a molle system, and with some creativity also to other bags.

Very well-made small bag. Spacious enough to fit a jacket, fleece or essential small items. Perfectly complements a backpack as an independent extra pocket. It can be easily attached thanks to the molle system, and other accessories can be attached to the bag itself. A practical solution is the shoulder strap for comfortable carrying. The roll-top with snap closure protects the inside from stray objects. I recommend this clever and functional travel addition. Foxhole is a very versatile bag. Depending on your needs, it works as a small backpack, an additional external pocket for your backpack, an internal organiser or a larger waist bag. The last way is not ideal for very slim people, as the straps are quite long. However, with a bit of ingenuity you can adapt it. The only thing that annoys me about this product is the mounting buckles – I have trouble operating them even with bare hands in comfortable conditions. But practice makes perfect, so I keep trying.

A solid bag, very spacious for its dimensions, and it also has a tight, waterproof closure. An additional plus is the possibility of attaching it to a belt or backpack. Very compact and useful — I recommend it!
