Helikon EDC Backpack 21 l - Melange Blue

A durable backpack made of high-quality material, even after several years of use it looks almost like new. I was looking for a model without external pockets, but even if you need them, you can easily add them as accessories.

Fantastic backpack. High quality workmanship, functional solutions and sturdiness. It will work great both for a short trip and for a longer excursion – it’s also quite spacious. I highly recommend backpacks from this brand!

I'm moderately satisfied. The pros are quality, durability, appearance, and a comfortable carrying system, but it lacks side pockets for bottles and more internal compartments – even after purchasing an organiser, there’s still not enough space for small items. When I carry a few things in it, everything mixes up like in a sailor's bag (e.g. lighter, cream, compass, folder, notebook, radios, pen, sharpener, first aid kit and other small things). I think Velcro should be in the larger pocket (or even in both), and the laptop pocket should be available separately for purchase (I don’t carry a laptop myself). For such an expensive EDC bag from Helikon, I expected a little more.

It works well as a first universal backpack. Although it’s not made from Cordura like other models in this series, it is still quite durable, and the two large compartments allow for convenient organisation of the interior. One of them is equipped with mounts for panels, and in the other you can attach Velcro panels.

The backpack is sturdy and thoughtfully designed. Unfortunately, it is not possible to purchase additional Helikon pockets in this colour. It only has two compartments, so you quickly feel the need to buy organisers.

The perfect backpack for EDC. It’s quite roomy, although I sometimes miss one extra pocket. A bonus is the Velcro in the smaller pocket, which lets you add organisers.

The backpack looks very modest. It has a neutral, urban appearance, but it hides a lot of practical potential. The materials used seem strong and durable. The well-designed waist and chest straps are a huge benefit. After purchasing, I was pleasantly surprised by the lightness and quality of workmanship.

A very durable and excellent backpack, I liked the Velcro in the smaller compartment where you can attach organisers. Helikon products are very solid. I also like that you can choose subdued colours that don’t stand out, although I like this model so much that I think I’ll buy another, this time in camouflage or coyote colour.

I finally found a backpack for everyday use that also works well at the shooting range. It has two large compartments, and the MOLLE system at the front and sides allows you to add extra pockets for small items. The backpack is comfortable and practical, with a detachable hip belt, making it perfect both for work and trips outdoors.
