Non-restrictive, made of stretchy, high-tech SharkSkin material, the softshell-windshirt jacket is fleece-lined on the inside and on the collar. On the outside, the jacket is coated with DuPont Teflon to protect against dirt and water.
The jacket has eight zippered pockets:
- two classic hip ones,
- one external one at chest level,
- two shoulder pockets,
- three inner ones.
The elbow-length sleeves have been reinforced with fabric, while the sleeve cuffs are adjustable with velcro patches bearing the Helikon company emblem. All zippers were manufactured by the world-renowned YKK company.
Velcro panels have been sewn onto the shoulder pockets, allowing you to affix any emblems, such as the national flag, unit emblem or so-called Morale Patches, so you can give your jacket an individual character.
The SharkSkin SoftShell material is not only breathable and rain resistant, but also discreetness of movement (the material does not emit a characteristic rustling sound when moving) and resistance to rubbing and abrasion. Branches, leaves and other elements of the forest undergrowth do not adhere to the jacket, which is the case with fleeces. The material is characterized by elasticity in all directions.

I preferred the previous version. The new two-way zip is often difficult to use. The shoulder pockets are unnecessary, and the earlier model looked more elegant. The cut is nice, but there is still too much material at the back around the shoulders, and the cuffs are so tight that it’s hard to get your hand through. Apart from that, as before, the material is good and there are plenty of practical inside pockets.

It's lightweight, fits perfectly and doesn’t restrict movement. The workmanship is faultless, everything is carefully finished, with no loose threads. Highly recommend.

The jacket is lightweight, comfortable and has well-placed pockets. I haven’t had a chance to test it in heavy rain, but it protects well against spring showers. It becomes slightly static when putting on and taking off, probably due to the type of material. Definitely worth its price.
