Helikon Defender Mk2 Ultralight Shirt - Misty Blue

This is my third shirt of this model and material. Very delicate and therefore airy. Perfect for hot days. The colours are indeed lighter than in the photos. With a height of 178 cm and weight of 80 kg, without a belly, I changed the size to XS – it’s loose, but still fits the body well. I plan to buy another one.

Great shirt, this is already the third one I've bought recently. The material is light and breathable. Indeed, in the photo the colour appears to be a dark brown, but in reality it's a beautiful light khaki which goes perfectly with my Helikon khaki trousers. Size XS is also suitable (I'm 178 cm tall, slim build), although I usually choose size M. I recommend it!

This is already the second shirt of this type I’ve bought in a short time. I’m just testing it out during heat of about 30 degrees – it’s very light and airy. The material is pleasant to the touch. Instead of the traditional M size, I chose S and the shirt fits perfectly – proper length and width.

The shirt arrived very quickly, as usual without delays. The material is delicate and slightly elastic. The cut is almost like SLIM, so it fits closely to the body, it’s not loose. I always buy size M, but here S was spot on – the length is just right and the shirt isn’t too tight. I especially appreciate the softness of the material.

A perfect summer shirt with enough pockets to store practically everything. The material indeed makes it very lightweight and airy, but because of that it wears out faster – after just a month I noticed threads sticking out, so with intensive use it will probably last about a year. Despite this, I still recommend it, especially if you can get it on offer.

I took off one star because the silver mink colour looks darker in the photo than it actually is. After a few days of wearing in a warmer climate, the shirt absorbs odours (this is not merino quality!).

I’ve been buying Helikon brand products for some time now, and once again I’m very satisfied. The shirt is light and airy, and the size matches the description. The pockets on the flap are a great idea – they are convenient and practical. I definitely recommend it.

This is already my third shirt in the Ultralight version. I have to mention straight away, the colours are subtler and lighter than in the photos, at least on my screen. It’s excellent in summer. After washing, it dries instantly, so it also wicks away sweat quickly. It ventilates the body well and lets air through perfectly. Its appearance attracts attention because it’s very original – even aggressive, military. I really like this Helikon product style. I recommend it!

The colours appeared much darker on my screen, but after receiving the first shirt (silver mink), I noticed that they are much lighter and more delicate, which I liked – so I ordered more. I chose a smaller size (S), which fits more closely yet still provides comfort. You just have to be careful with your belly, as it's easy to indulge in extra drinks in summer, which might spoil the effect.

The shirt is fantastic. In the classic Defender with ripstop, I used to sweat heavily, though it did protect well against the wind. This version is the perfect choice for hot weather – very airy, light, and thin. Whether it will be equally durable, time will tell. The most important thing is that the great cut and pocket layout of the Defender has been retained, which for me is the best, despite the lack of collar buttons that used to stiffen the shirt. XL fits my figure perfectly (184 cm/105 kg). You just have to be careful with the colour – SilverMink looks much lighter in reality than in the photo on Militaria.pl, more like a sandy khaki. Perfect for summer. I’m thinking about buying another one in a different colour.

Fantastic shirt, after testing the first one in Misty Blue I decided to get another. Despite the synthetic material, it’s very comfortable to wear and its lightness is impressive. The four pockets make it very practical – I most often use the side ones with zips. The cut is loose – size S fits me perfectly, although I usually choose M. It’s definitely worth buying, the product meets expectations.

The ideal summer shirt – very lightweight and airy. After washing, it doesn’t even need ironing. For me, it’s a great alternative to a t-shirt during high temperatures. It truly dries in a flash.
