A comfortable and lightweight shirt made of a quick-dry and stretchy material designed for any activity, both in the field and in the city.
The Defender Mk2 shirt is dedicated primarily to uniformed officers, but also to active people who appreciate high quality and practical use. Its loose fit harmonizes with the anatomy of movement, low-profile ballistic vest or IWB (Inside Waistband) holster.
The shirt's lightweight and breathable fabric provides optimal performance on warmer days. Mesh panels located under the armpits provide additional air circulation under the shirt. The ultraviolet protection factor (UPF) for the Defender Mk2 shirt is >30.
A loop is sewn onto the button placket, where glasses can be conveniently hung. A small stiffener in the front under the collar prevents it from rolling.
The shirt has four pockets arranged at chest level:
- two main ones, with Velcro closed flaps, with access from the top,
- two Napoleonic ones located behind the main pockets, closed with a lightweight and durable zipper.

The shirt is comfortable and dries very quickly, made from a very pleasant fabric. It looks great and is also very practical due to features like pockets and underarm ventilation, so it’s definitely worth recommending.

This is already my fifth Defender Mk2 shirt. It seems to me that the Tropical line has slightly shorter sleeves than the Gentleman, or maybe it’s just my piece. The shirt works great during all kinds of outdoor activities. For hot days, this is the best shirt I’ve had. This version travelled about 1000 km with me on a cycling trip with camping. I honestly recommend it!

The shirt looks very good and is breathable, but the material could be a bit more durable – there are pulled threads on the sleeve, although I only wore it on special occasions. You can singe them, but you have to be careful.

The shirt is pleasant to the touch, wears well and looks great. Unfortunately, after wearing a backpack for several hours, pilling appears on the back, which shouldn’t happen at this price point. It can be removed, but the fabric in those places becomes thinner and less durable.

This is the best shirt I’ve had so far. It’s light and airy, and when worn over a T-shirt it works well on cooler summer days. It dries quickly in 3-4 hours, and I wash it by hand. Perfect for travel or trips – it looks neat and elegant, is compact and doesn’t crease, which makes packing easier.

Very good, light, and airy material. The shirt has a great cut. Size L at 187 cm tall and 80 kg fits perfectly, although the sleeves are just right. I recommend it for summer without hesitation.

The XL shirt fits very well, with a slight looseness – just how I like it. When worn directly on the body during July heatwaves, it isn’t very comfortable due to the long sleeves and the dark colour. However, in the evenings or at night, even with a light breeze, it works brilliantly. Light rain doesn’t harm it. So far, I’ve only tested it in the city.

Almost a perfect shirt, the Tropical version is exceptionally light and airy, doesn’t restrict movement. It works even during heatwaves – it breathes well and is almost unnoticeable. The material hasn’t worn out despite carrying a light backpack. Downsides: the shirt should have internal button tabs on the sleeves for rolling them up. Four pockets are a great idea, but because of the thin material, they’re only suitable for lightweight items like documents, banknotes, tickets, pens, plasters, string or a pack of cigarettes. The Helikon logo label under the collar itches a bit, but can be easily removed. Overall, highly recommended; size L fits perfectly for 180 cm and 90 kg. I’m planning to buy other Defender MK2 versions.
