Helikon Competition Triple Carbine Insert - Shadow Grey

The magazine pouches are very good and have a favourable quality-to-price ratio. The product is of solid quality. AR magazines fit perfectly and hold securely in place. In addition, I am very pleased with the express order processing.

The magazine pouch has been made very solidly. I haven’t actually tested it with magazines, but the tops of the pouches are finished with a material resembling leather and they retain their shape well, even when empty. It fits perfectly with the Helikon Competition MultiGun Chest Rig vest. In the photo, the pouch is mounted in this vest without straps.

As is typical with Helikon, the product is very well made. However, I have to deduct 2 stars for a serious flaw – in my opinion the hook-and-loop fasteners were sewn on the wrong way. There is soft velcro on the back and hooks on the front, which is illogical – the standard is that the base should have soft velcro and accessories should have hooks. Inside the Helikon Rangemaster Gear Bag there are soft velcro patches, so to attach these pouches, I have to turn them around with the back to the front and can't use the elastic loops at the front, where 9mm magazines could be placed. It's similar with caps and shirts – the base has soft velcro, the patches have hooks. This product requires significant improvement.

Very precisely and aesthetically made. It fits perfectly in the pocket of the Helikon Competition Multigun Rig vest. The magazines are so well fitted that the securing bands are rarely needed, although they may stretch over time. I recommend this product.

The pouch is sewn very solidly and with strong material. At first, magazines go in a bit tightly, but after some use, taking them out is no longer a problem. It's worth buying for this price.

An excellent product, made with great attention to detail, and the price is comparable to Chinese pouches. It works great as an insert for a kangaroo-type front panel. What surprised me most positively was the material inside the pouch, which holds magazines firmly even without extra securing at the top. I definitely recommend it.

It works great as an additional element for the Helikon Chest Rig at the shooting range and for organising larger items (although the opening at the top makes it less than ideal for this). The downside is the limited colour availability from the manufacturer (currently only grey and coyote), but its usefulness as an insert for the main pocket makes up for it.

It accommodates magazines for both AK and M4, as well as pistols, which is an additional advantage. It is a great alternative to a vest for people who value good quality and comfort of use.

The logo is done very neatly, although once the pouch is placed in a vest of this series it is not visible. Overall, the quality is very good, but like other products in the competition series, the price is high.
