Helikon Competition Med Kit - Adaptive Green

Very good, compact pouch. This will not replace a full IFAK. To give an idea: inside I fit an Israeli compression bandage and a tourniquet – this fills the entire space. I attached it to a plate carrier, it looks good and I can easily store a TQ and a bandage in it – they are clean and easily accessible. I value Helikon’s products highly, and I have ten years of military experience, so I have some basis for comparison. It will also work well on a battle belt or anywhere a low profile is needed.

Thoughtful pocket design, which may seem small at first glance. The inner insert can easily be removed with one hand in either direction. An additional advantage is the attractive price. I recommend it!

At first it may look not very spacious, but after packing medical equipment from the IFAK set, it turns out that everything fits, although just barely. A sturdy and very carefully made pouch.

A perfectly designed pocket to hold the most necessary dressing materials. High quality workmanship. I always wear it attached to my tactical belt during visits to the shooting range, while I store the tourniquet in a separate pouch. I definitely recommend it!

The right size for a tactical belt, although you need to carefully plan what to take and organise your dressings and other equipment well when packing.

This is not a classic first aid kit that pulls out like most, but more of a pocket for carrying medical items, however it fulfils its function perfectly and is very spacious.

It's a very practical first aid kit – it holds almost the entire IFAK (tourniquet on the outside, scissors e.g. on the vest), it is handy and the insert can easily be pulled out from both sides.

You can fit the basic equipment needed for an IFAK in the first aid kit, provided, for example, you attach the tourniquet outside with bands. I think it will work better at the shooting range than in combat conditions. Its advantages are the sturdy construction, the ability to mount it vertically or horizontally, and the ease of removing the insert from both sides. If it were a bit bigger, I'd rate it 5/5.

This is probably the first time a Helikon product has not met my expectations. The outer part is made very well, but the interior seems very delicate and I am concerned that it may get damaged over time. The size could be a bit bigger – it lacks about half a centimetre in width. I only placed two dressings inside, and already the whole thing was quite full. Putting a tourniquet into the side elastics is nearly impossible; I can't imagine how to do it as shown in Helikon's pictures (not to mention whether that's a practical solution for quick access to the tourniquet).

A small pocket that allows you to carry a rescue kit to provide assistance after a gunshot wound. The rubber loops can be used to attach a tourniquet holder. A big advantage is the possibility of carrying it horizontally and the two-sided fastening, which means you can pull out the contents with either your left or right hand when the pouch is positioned horizontally.

Great quality and solid workmanship, interesting colour. I've already bought 6 of these. Larger ones would be useful because the staze is a tight fit.

The quality of workmanship could be better in terms of aesthetics, but the idea itself is good.

Unfortunately, the first aid kit disappointed me a bit – as shooting range equipment, it should fit the required supplies, but it's tough to squeeze even the basics inside. The Israeli bandage takes up most of the space, as does the large WP bandage, even in the vacuum-packed version. You can only add flat items inside, but even so, you can't fit medical inserts, and 19cm scissors are too large. The tourniquet can only be placed on the outside (which isn't bad), but that's basically it – maybe I just wanted it to hold too much and overstuffed it. The kit is well made from good materials, I rate it 4/5. I recommend it.

It is good for carrying the most important things, it is quite comfortable, although it could be a bit bigger.

In my opinion, this is the best first aid kit with a MOLLE system available at Militaria.pl. It's not built on a "pocket within a pocket" design, making it much lighter than other models. The medical insert can be removed very quickly – much faster than in tear-off kits. It deserves a 5/5 rating.
