This is my second RAL 7013 chest bag from the Helikon brand. Its attachment system with buckle is very practical and makes it very easy to put on or take off. This bag seems to be of very good quality! An item I highly recommend.

Helikon Chest Pack Numbat Small Bag - Coyote
A bag created from durable 500D Cordura, characterised by resistance to mechanical damage and intensive use in the field. It has a detachable and adjustable carry system, allowing it to be worn comfortably on the chest or used as a waist bag. Designed for both everyday use and long off-road treks, it provides convenient storage for essential equipment.
Spacious main compartment, Versatile Insert System
Inside the main compartment there is a pocket and an internal organiser that also functions as a map holder. Internal cords on both sides stabilise the compartment in various positions. The back wall of the compartment is lined with soft velour, in accordance with the Versatile Insert System, allowing various organisers to be used.
Flat front pocket closed with a zip.
MOLLE system, Velcro panel
At the bottom of the bag, an elastic, adjustable cord is attached for attaching, for example, a rolled-up jacket or sweatshirt. Sewn-on front MOLLE webbing allows additional items to be attached from outside the bag. A large velcro panel on the front makes it possible to add any patches, such as a flag, emblem or so-called Morale Patches, personalising the bag.
Comfortable straps, option to convert into a waist bag
Adjustable straps have four buckles allowing for quick release of the bag. The rear panel, adjacent to the body, is finished with soft 3D Mesh pads, effectively dampening movements while walking. Thanks to the detachable waist belt, the bag easily transforms into a waist bag.

This is my first bag of this kind and I am really impressed. I am extremely satisfied. It's truly an excellent product. Usually, various little things like a knife, flashlight, or smartphone end up scattered in my backpack or pockets, but finally there is something ideal. Everything is at hand and organised. You can fit something additional in the pockets, and in the main compartment you can store the most important things. I am very pleased. And, of course, the quality—as expected from Helikon—is top-notch.

A new version of the well-known Numbat chest pack design with the option to use it as a 'quiver of legitimacy'. An excellent choice for travel, daily EDC use, or for isolating your most important items from your larger backpack. The only potential inconvenience is that it can be a bit harder to take items out of the front zipped pocket when the pouch is fully packed, although this is not a major issue. It’s a two-in-one product, solidly made, reasonably priced, and if the promotion is still on, it’s practically a bargain. Really worth it!

A practical bag, everything is at hand and it distributes the weight with the backpack well. Very good quality of workmanship and materials used. This is my first experience with this way of carrying a bag and I really liked it.
