It's worth noting that the product is well made. If you intend to wear it over something else, I suggest choosing a size larger than usual. I personally went for the largest available and it fits just how I like – there's some room, it's not tight. I used it over a long-sleeve pullover – in temperatures above zero it worked great, it was fully sufficient during activity. If you stand for a long time, it might be different. The hood is concealed and adjustable – totally fine for me. The sleeve pockets are zipped and have a Velcro panel for a morale patch, which is an interesting solution. Large chest pockets fasten with a double zip and have extra compartments inside. It goes great with the trousers. I'm 185 cm tall, have a chest measurement of 136/138 cm, and weigh about 118 kg (losing weight). The Helikon Patriot fleece fits comfortably in XXL. I recommend it as a comfortable choice for layering and it protects well against the wind.

Good for cooler, but not very cold days or for cycling at around 10-15 degrees (depending on preferences and what you wear underneath). It's great that the chest pockets can act as additional ventilation (with separate vents under the arms). The only downside is it feels tight at the neck when the hood is folded into the collar.

The sizes are a bit larger, so you can choose a size smaller than usual (e.g., if you wear M, choose S). The Adaptive Green colour is between Coyote and Olive Green; it doesn't stand out in the city, and during tactical operations it provides excellent camouflage.
