Helikon Bergen Backpack 18 l - Duck Hunter
An 18 litre backpack from the Bushcraft Line series, inspired by the design of rucksacks used by British and Polish special forces during the Second World War. Made from tough and abrasion-resistant 500D Cordura, equipped with three external pockets closed by flaps with Woojin buckles.
Durable 500D Cordura, spacious main compartment
The backpack is made from 500D Cordura, a material characterised by high durability and high resistance to abrasion and tears. The construction is based on a spacious main compartment, closed with a drawstring chimney and a flap with Woojin buckles. This design allows the height of the backpack to be adjusted depending on how full it is. Inside the main compartment, there is space for a hydration cartridge and a zipped pocket. On the flap there is a flat pocket closed with a YKK zip and four straps for attaching additional equipment.
On the front of the flap is a 9 x 5 cm velcro panel to attach any patch or emblem, such as a national flag, unit emblem or so-called Morale Patches.
3 spacious external pockets, MOLLE webbing
The Bergen model is equipped with 3 capacious external pockets, each secured with a drawstring and a flap with buckles. Between the pockets and the body of the rucksack, there are three compartments for carrying external equipment: two slots (e.g. for an axe) and three slots (e.g. for a knife or folding saw). The possibility of carrying additional equipment is ensured by a long row of MOLLE system webbing above the pockets and by straps located on the reinforced bottom of the rucksack.
Carrying system
The carry system is based on ergonomically shaped, adjustable braces and a padded back with shock-absorbing cushions, covered with a breathable mesh fabric. The harness is equipped with webbing and a quick-release system, which allows the rucksack to be quickly released in an emergency. Additional stabilisation during carrying is provided by a detachable hip belt and chest strap. A short carry handle on top of the backpack makes it easy to carry.
