Helikon Ambush Backpack 22 l - MultiCam

A 22-liter backpack made of damage-resistant 500D Cordura. It has been equipped with heavy-duty YKK zippers. The model is equipped with a compartment for a hydration cartridge.

A large compartment closed with two-way zippers is used to carry basic gear. The zippers allow the backpack to be unzipped deeply and provide better access to the contents being carried. Inside the compartment there is a compartment for a hydration cartridge and a flat mesh pocket.

The side pockets are secured with flaps closed with fastex buckles, under which there are chimneys adjustable with pullers with stoppers. This protects the interior from the ingress of mud and dust, and the carried contents from falling out.

A velour-lined top pocket ensures safe carrying of smaller items, such as a camera, binoculars or night vision. The front panel features velcro to which Morale Patches or emblems can be attached. The lower pocket features two key loops, two compartments and a flat mesh pocket for organizing small items of equipment.

The Beavertail pocket allows you to safely place gear such as a tactical helmet or rolled up jacket between it and the backpack. The buckles are adjustable and detachable, so it can be folded up and stowed in a pocket located at the bottom of the backpack.

Above the side pockets, tapes compatible with the MOLLE/PALS system have been sewn on, allowing the backpack to be expanded with additional pockets. In addition, from the bottom there is an elastic cord with a drawstring, allowing to carry, for example, a jacket or sleeping bag.

The backpack's carrying system consists of adjustable harnesses with soft padding to reduce the risk of shoulder rubbing. Wide, contoured suspenders evenly distribute the weight on the shoulders. The entire length of the harness is sewn with webbing, which allows you to mount additional accouterment.

For increased comfort during hiking, the backpack is equipped with a wide hip belt and a height-adjustable chest strap.

MultiCam is a state-of-the-art camouflage pattern developed in 2002 by US company Crye Precision in cooperation with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. Its goal was to create a versatile camouflage pattern that is effective in varied terrain and changing environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colors, creating gradient transitions between shades of green, brown and beige. As a result, it dynamically adapts to the background, adopting shades of green in forested areas or browns and beiges in desert regions - in Central and Eastern European environments, it works particularly well in autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained worldwide recognition and is used by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the camouflage was officially adopted by the US Army as the camouflage pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the earlier Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also available to civilian users, making it a popular choice among military or airsoft enthusiasts.
