Helikon ACU PolyCotton Rip-Stop Pants - UCP

A copy of the current US Army uniform pants in the Universal Camouflage Pattern color scheme, which are used by line troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Made of 40% polyester and 60% Ripstop cotton.

A good fit of the pants to the wearer's figure is made possible by a recessed cord for adjusting the circumference. The legs finished with nylon webbing allow them to be attached to shoes. The pants are also equipped with reinforcements in the buttocks and knee areas. 

The pants have 8 pockets, including: two on the front, two on the back with buttoned patches, two cargo pockets with Velcro closures and pullers, and two on the calves with Velcro closures. In addition, there are special knee pad pockets on the knees.

UCP (Universal Camouflage Pattern) is a digital camouflage pattern introduced at the beginning of the 21st century as a successor to US Woodland and Desert. It combines camouflage functions in various environments - forest, desert and urban - which is why shades of green and beige are combined with gray. The spot arrangement is based on the MARPAT pattern, and the pastel, low-contrast colors create a pixelated micro-pattern that blends well into the environment at short distances but merges into a uniform silhouette at greater distances. UCP showed high effectiveness in infrared, which contributed to its introduction, but it was eventually replaced by OCP camouflage based on the MultiCam pattern.
