A multifunctional compass ideal for orienteering.
In addition to the double scale on the compass and magnifying glass, it was equipped with practical rulers in centimeters and inches, which make it easier to calculate distance according to the scale of the map.
A movable limbus, scaled in 1-degree increments, allows precise setting and reading of directions to within one degree.
The Scout Mk2 compass offers four scales:
- 1:24000,
- 1:25000,
- 1:50000,
- 1:62500.
It comes with a cord to secure the compass from getting lost.
