The shirt has been made very solidly – this is the second one in my collection and once again I am completely satisfied. It works great in hot weather and high humidity, is very breathable, and has many pockets, which is very practical. I recommend it, another excellent purchase.

The shirt is made from high-quality fabric, it is breathable and dries quickly after sweating. The fit is loose, and it sits well even around the stomach. However, the material itself is delicate – I just brushed lightly against a broken branch and a hole appeared.

The shirt is comfortable and dries very quickly, made from a very pleasant fabric. It looks great and is also very practical due to features like pockets and underarm ventilation, so it’s definitely worth recommending.

This is already my fifth Defender Mk2 shirt. It seems to me that the Tropical line has slightly shorter sleeves than the Gentleman, or maybe it’s just my piece. The shirt works great during all kinds of outdoor activities. For hot days, this is the best shirt I’ve had. This version travelled about 1000 km with me on a cycling trip with camping. I honestly recommend it!

The shirt looks very good and is breathable, but the material could be a bit more durable – there are pulled threads on the sleeve, although I only wore it on special occasions. You can singe them, but you have to be careful.

The shirt is pleasant to the touch, wears well and looks great. Unfortunately, after wearing a backpack for several hours, pilling appears on the back, which shouldn’t happen at this price point. It can be removed, but the fabric in those places becomes thinner and less durable.

The XL shirt fits very well, with a slight looseness – just how I like it. When worn directly on the body during July heatwaves, it isn’t very comfortable due to the long sleeves and the dark colour. However, in the evenings or at night, even with a light breeze, it works brilliantly. Light rain doesn’t harm it. So far, I’ve only tested it in the city.

Almost a perfect shirt, the Tropical version is exceptionally light and airy, doesn’t restrict movement. It works even during heatwaves – it breathes well and is almost unnoticeable. The material hasn’t worn out despite carrying a light backpack. Downsides: the shirt should have internal button tabs on the sleeves for rolling them up. Four pockets are a great idea, but because of the thin material, they’re only suitable for lightweight items like documents, banknotes, tickets, pens, plasters, string or a pack of cigarettes. The Helikon logo label under the collar itches a bit, but can be easily removed. Overall, highly recommended; size L fits perfectly for 180 cm and 90 kg. I’m planning to buy other Defender MK2 versions.
