The patch with the inscription JTAC (Joint Terminal Attack Controller) is made using the Laser Cut method from abrasion-resistant nylon and is equipped with velcro, which allows it to be attached to a tactical vest, backpack or other selected pieces of equipment.
Patches of this type are worn by soldiers and other services alongside patches specific to their own unit in order to “boost morale.” They are a kind of identifying and unifying element of the group, and are also an element of soldier humor.
