The model uses the innovative Insect Shield technology, which involves permanently imbuing the fabric with permethrin, an insect repellent. This solution reduces the risk of bites without compromising comfort. The substance is imperceptible, odourless, and safe for skin contact. The technology has been registered by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

The Omni-Shade technology used in the trousers effectively protects the skin against a wide spectrum of UV radiation, minimising its negative impact. The Omni-Wick system is responsible for efficient moisture wicking, transporting sweat from the skin to the outside of the fabric, helping to maintain optimal body temperature and a dry feeling even during intense activity.

The design includes shaped knees and ribbing at the bottom of the legs, which increases freedom of movement and allow the trousers to fit better with footwear. Mesh ventilation panels are located at the back of the knees to support effective air circulation.
