I took it with me just out of curiosity, but I very quickly got into using it. It’s pleasantly surprising how fascinating it is to look at tiny details that you normally wouldn’t even notice. It feels comfortable in the hand, there’s no need to spend ages figuring it out, everything works intuitively. The backlight really adds to the effect and makes observations more lively. Over time, you catch yourself thinking that you take it out just 'to have another look at something'. In my opinion, the downside is the 'inverted' image you see... at least for me. I was looking for something to examine a pen nib at high magnification. Unfortunately, this 'inverted' image makes it difficult and uncomfortable to do.
