About the non slip...

These boots are fantastic—until the moment you find yourself standing in even a teaspoon of blood. Suddenly, you're less “sure footed” and more “baby deer on ice.” but they are comfortable and so far seem hard wearing, despite the non non-slip feature when walking around in blood I would buy them again.

Good quality. Soles are quite good and grab well to the ground - was almost biting the ground a few times. UK, so rains cats and dogs, went through the worst weather and puddles - dry as I went through a beach on a sunny day. Chose the size on the basis of other boots I have had. With a regular sock they are just the fit (no room to wiggle your big toe as in other boots but not uncomfortable) also they are not too wide at the nose. I'd suggest to get half a size bigger than your regular size. Also if you plan on additional insoles +1 size a must! Synthetic materials so breaking them in is different from breaking in leather boots. All in all and with all above mentioned, no one will regret buying them.

This brand makes very good walking boots the merrell moab 3 is comfortable and supportive and the materials are good quality and the outsole good the lacing system is comfortable

Boots are fine, although very stiff when new, hoping they'll soften up with use. Major issue though is that despite the "waterproof membrane" the tongue gusset is just a mesh material: first time out in the rain, any water that hits the tongue just rolls straight down inside the boot. I really cannot understand the point of waterproofing the shoe itself but leaving a huge point of ingress around the tongue.
