What is RFID?

RFID stands for Radio-Frequency Identification, which is a technology enabling contactless data transfer between a chip (e.g., a card) and a receiver, such as a payment terminal. Unfortunately, contactless cards can be scanned by special devices called skimmers. Therefore, it's wise to protect them, and one way of doing so is by using an anti-theft wallet.

How does an anti-theft wallet work?

An anti-theft wallet works by blocking radio waves emitted by RFID readers, preventing unauthorized card data reads. Inside an RFID-protected wallet, there is a special protective layer, often made from materials such as aluminum or metal fibers, which creates a barrier for radio signals.
